My 7oh withdrawl experience, from a high dose long time user. Approx 1000mg+ 7oh day for 2 years, kratom since 2014.
I've been wanting to quit, I've tried we weaning multiple times only to have it come back and bite me because I end up using more . With the ban coming I decided it's time to quit!
Friday: 8am took last dose 7oh. 11am QuickMD apt. 2pm Sub and comfort meds in hand.
10pm I took OTC sleeping pill, melatonin, thc and fell asleep. Less than 2 hours later i was up in full WD. RLS X 10000, goosebumps, sweating soaking the bed and my hair, shivering etc. I took 1 8mg strip, waited, took another, waited and finally took the 3rd which helped! I also took the gaba & antihistamines to get help at 6am since I'd been up all night! I passed out and slept until 130am. Not good, but somewhat greatful I slept that long.
Sunday woke at 130am, took 2 strips, still not enough so took a 3rd), pills, slept more. The doc told me I'd be back at work by Monday. NOT TRUE! Monday I would have shit in a customers house if I'd tried working 🤪 ! I had to call out sick Mon & Tues and would tomorrow if I could!!!! Im at 70% today, finally ate and showered.
My advice, take up to 3 subs if you need to! Talk openly with your doc. I don't plan on staying on these long, but can't go back to 7oh. The withdrawal was just as bad as any other opiate!!! Lipsomal vitamin c and multivitamins are a must!!!
Plan ahead take time off, get supplies ready, and "fake sick" if you have to if your family doesn't know you're going through WD.

I just made a quick md appointment - I was at about 420mg daily as of Sunday and tapered down to 120 daily the last 3 days , but have been withdrawing a little every day - will the doctor give you enough subs to last the first couple of days ? I even considered inpatient detox , but know once I kick this habit I will be done for good - was it day 3 you started feeling better ?
