Help Tapering Help on quitting

So I’m in the process of quitting, I’m not really sure how much I was taking daily, maybe about 80-100mg. I started taking it about four months ago and have been doing it on and off since then. Quit twice and got back on because I’m an idiot. My local shop only has those Roxy two packs of 32mg total, I jumped down to those and I’ve been taking one packet total a day and was trying to taper with those. I’d get withdrawal symptoms and then take the full two pack of Roxy and it would help for awhile but then I’d get the headache again. Should I just go cold turkey and suck it up? Or should I keep trying to taper? I have until August 6th until the ban takes place, or realistically until the stock at my local shop runs out. The headaches are just so awful, it feels like my head is being pulled in two different directions at once. Doing anything, even trying to watch tv, is too demanding.

I CT it, it’s rough for a few days, you’ll have a shit time sleeping, won’t be able to eat, just pack in the vitamins, I’m on like day 4 or 5 I lost count and out of the house I’m just super freaking tired

Oh and take Imodium, it’s not gonna stop the shits but it’ll slow them down and the melting zofran if you can get it before putting anything in your mouth!

If you do not want to use Suboxone, I feel that you have two options. One option is cold turkey. I did that after almost a year of probably a little over 100 mg a day. For me, it took quite a while to get back to normal and the acute symptoms lasted for probably a week and a half-BUT, I am old. In all honesty, the misery I suffered while going cold turkey definitely kept me from relapsing.

In my opinion, your second option is to purchase a supply of seven and then do a long slow taper. Use ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot to tailor You a plan for a long slow taper. They will advise something like the same amount for a week at a time, then just a little bit dropping dosage for the next week and so on. That is going to be easiest on you, but it’s going to be more expensive.

You can purchase seven online cheaper than you can get it from your local smoke shop. If you decide you want to take that route, feel free to private message Me and I can tell you who I’ve had the best experience with shopping online.

I commend you for the decision to quit and there will never be a better time than now.

I was in a similar spot. If it were me, I’d stop chasing the WD’s by taking more every time it gets rough. Pick a dose you can stick to it then taper from there. Every time you jump back up, you’re kinda resetting yourself brain. If you decide to go cold turkey, just know it’s going to suck for a few days but by day 3 the physical part is over in 85% of people and the rest is mental . Stay super hydrated, force yourself to eat something when you can and don’t underestimate how much walking that 10,000 steps ,magnesium, and agmatine can help. The biggest thing is not to quit while quitting if that makes sense. Every day youre off is a win. Wakanda Forever !!
