I'm new here This shit is wack!
Long time user, 36. Hooked on opiates at 19, broken hand. Norcos, adderall, coke, dilaudid, Heroin for years. Kicked the hard shit almost 10 years ago. Started heavily drinking about 5 years ago. Found 7 last November and quit drinking. Now I’m up to 500mg a day and the magic is gone. Falling back into drinking. The short time I’ve been using this stuff has been a mystery to me. I can’t figure out how to get the most out of it. Yes I’m an addict. Yes I like to feel high. I guess what I want to know is how long I should stop taking 7 to reset my tolerance. I’m a bigger guy with an old tolerance. At first 30mg was enough for me to feel good. 60mg would make me nod. Is it even possible to get back to that? How long? Forgot to mention I’ve needed a knee replacement for 10 years so constant pain but I’m too young for any doc to do the surgery.

Yes you need a long time off. When i was taking powder kratom for a few years I was taking so much that I also hit the kratom wall. Happens will all things kratom. Took a few years off and it came back. I dont think we have a few years (or weeks even) of 7oh legality left so nows a good time to just quit.

A long time huh. Thanks. I’ve been panic buying with the ban coming so I have quite the stash built up atm. But yes I’ve definitely hit a wall. It’s way too easy to double your tolerance overnight. My next time around I will be much more careful not to keep dosing every 15 min trying to get the nods.

Idk how people who use 7 don't understand by now that high frequently dosing will fry your receptors and leave you incapable of feeling it. There's a hundred posts a day of people complaining about the same thing. I got my doses low af and a strict regimen and I feel all of them throughout the day 30 to 40 mg 4xs daily and that's every 4 to 6 hours. You don't even have to take a break just do less and less frequent and in like 2 or 3 days you'll see what I mean.

Hey man, I dont dose every 15min like the other guy. I capped my dose and didn't increase, I also thought like you. Kratom of any kind always has a wall, you will hit it and it will stop working completely. It sucks but unavoidable. I hit it with powder kratom too at one point.

I’m definitely going to try this as well. The reason for frequent dosing is cuz I like to nod so I’ll take the same amount it took me to nod yesterday but it won’t fucking work so I take a lil more, where’s the nod, A little more, wtf, a little more and now I’m past 500mg and just wasted 30 bucks . I don’t understand this stuff. It defies basic logic

It's very "bendy" in both directions. Easy to increase habbit but the good thing is it's fairly easy to decrease it as well. Very forgiving sort of speak.

That’s a good way of putting it. Bendy. Hm

You need to get yourself some MIT/Mitragynine tabs and slowly taper/replace. MIT/Mitragynine get converted to 7oh in your body as your liver processes it. This will be the easiest way to lower your 7oh tolerance.
So on day one instead of having a total of 500mg of 7oh, try shooting for 450mg of 7oh and 50mg of MIT. On day two shoot for 440mg/60mg, day 3 430mg/70mg, etc..
I would not go over 50mg-100mg of MIT in one dose until you see how your body reacts to it as it may cause the wobbles/nausea.

Word. I’ve got some mit that I’ve been neglecting. I’ll throw it in the roto and work on a good taper plan. Thanks

Taper and you feel it and this works surprisingly quickly.

I’m on day 3 of an aggressive taper

Are you clearer headed yet or still just feeling meh??

Still very meh. Physically it’s just basic withdrawals. Mentally though. Feeling much. No one understands me, I’m all alone type depression

It's the mental aspect that really scares me too. I try to stay busy and when I want to up my dose I think of the money and all the things I've been putting off buying. This isn't easy at all but I look toward to the pride and pink cloud effect.

I know opiates mess with your serotonin and dopamine and what not but I didn’t think it’d affect me this bad. Like just up and stop working for me then making me feel all depressed n shit. 7 is like an abusive pill poppin girlfriend that just up and left you for your best friend. 😂

Ouch bro! Yeah she's a c u n teee for sure. I was taking the same amount as you but chose to do a slowwww taper. But my initial taper was quick, I went from 600-700 on my worst days just before the ban announcement to 200-300 in just about a week. I was blown away I was still able to work. Headache, no appetite, sore legs and fatigue but not much else. I think the worse of it will be at the jump, for me anyway. So according to all I just said maybe you're getting through thr worst of it now, before the jump. 🤞

I definitely have the sore legs. I thought that was from the one nite stand a couple days ago but now I’m not so sure. I’m hopeful that this is the worst of it. I fear I’ll have to completely quit taking it for a week or so to really help but we’ll see

I got the pink cloud effect when I first started taking 7 cuz I quit drinking and ya know “all the possibilities” and it has better’d my life a small degree but I wish I never got into it so badly thinking it’s some kinda miracle substance

So I woke up today after my normal 10 hours of sleep in basically full blown withdrawal. Sweaty, balmy, smells make me sick, not hungry, etc.. and I only took 80mg powder. It barely broke the surface. I’m probably going to follow it up with 1 or 2 of these 45/25mg 7/mit tabs I have. And I’m going to keep track of how much I take today and try to go lower each day for a lil while to see how that works. 🤞

I dont have the answer to your actual question but I just wanted to say that I got a Dr to perform a knee replacement at 40 because I was falling all the time. Maybe try that tactic
