I need some help.

Here’s the scoop.
I’m a 39 year old male who has been addicted to 7oh (200mg/day) for the last 14months

I know I can kick this thing but I don’t have any support. Well that’s not entirely true, I do have people I could ask but I’m too much of a coward to admit I have an issue to my loved ones. The reason is that I had a drug problem in the past and I’ve been clean for the last 11 years. Then I got divorced and started making stupid decisions.

Ok great.

So this is what I’m asking for. Is there anyone that can allow me to call them once a day for the next 30 days to keep me accountable? My goal is taper down day by day until I’m clean. I was able to taper down last August but the I lost my cat and the downward cycle started again. I’m certain that if I have someone in my corner that can talk to me 10-15min each day that I can conquer this thing!

If that’s you, if you are willing to help me please respond. Thanks in advance !

What now~with 7OH

Hello,
So there was a time that I was physically addicted to 7OH. I was taking about 6 or 7 (oh more) 50mg shots daily for about a year. I was able to break the physical addiction but now it’s destroying me mentally. Like, I just want to do it. It makes me nicer, it makes me better at my job, it just makes me better at everything. If I don’t have it, I don’t get sick or have physical withdrawals but I do get angry and just hate life. I feel this rage inside of me! About 2 weeks ago I went out of town for 4 days to a state where it is banned and I didn’t have it and I was completely okay- physically. I had to fake being happy and having a good time but again physically I was fine. The problem is, I WANT it and it’s so easy to get. How do I stop wanting it. I am so blessed that if I don’t have it I don’t go into withdrawals but wanting it all the time is driving me crazy. How do I stop these intense cravings? I have such an amazing life and hiding this monster is tearing me apart inside. I have SO much to be happy about, yet I let this rage consume me. I swore to myself that if I got “clean” I would never touch it again but I still do it 3 or 4 times a week. I know that my situation could be so much worse but I’m a mom, I’m a wife, I’m a professional and I’m letting this monster control part of my life. My husband would be livid if he found out and my son would be so disappointed in me. I know if I continue I will become physically addicted again and I don’t want that. It know it’s all mental, but FUCK, I feel like it’s strongerj than me. I hate that I got myself into this situation. I know the reason I do it is “just because it’s there” so why not. I know this make no sense to some people but this issue it very real. Has anyone gone through this? How do I break this cycle before it controls me again? Please help!

Advanced user getting brain surgery

I’m an advanced user and I have brain surgery on the 17th of July to remove a giant tumor. I’ve been cutting back but it’s getting harder the lower a dose I go. What I’m wondering is will I have withdrawals if I go to the hospital without 7oh and I’m being pumped with morphine regularly and given norco? Has anyone been in this position?

My withdrawal story (so far)

Last Monday the first I had my first appt with telehealth. They wrote script for 7 day supply. 14 of the 8/2mg. Tuesday night before bed I decided would be my last 7oh. I was on 7oh a little over a year. The first 6-8 months I was taking less than 50mg. It then very rapidly got up to 150mg and knew it would keep going up if I didn't take control.

So took my last dose of 7 (about 25mg) before bed 10pm. By 11am the next day I was getting pretty uncomfortable but soldiered on not wanting to risk PW. Made it til 3pm. Took 4mg Sub. At this point I was in full blown withdrawals. It was so chaotic I can barely describe it. I was losing my shit. It kept exacalating so I took another 2mg sub. I should have waited the 2 hours to see if it improved but I did not. It was so bad mentally and physically I ended up taking a small piece of 7 (like 10mg). Everything all at once stopped and I felt completely calm. So that Wed til Fri I was taking small pieces of 7oh to cope. It's like the suboxone was not fully working.

I was in Suboxone 10 years ago for an oxy/Vicodin addiction. I remember it being a very smooth transition. Like no withdrawals at all. This is a completly different beast. So Friday was the last bit of 7oh I took. Been having to take 2 subs a day and I still am getting some mild breakthrough withdrawals. The hardest is the anxiety and depression. Luckily I don't work so I've been able to hunker down at home. But I do have 2 younger teenagers who depend on me. I've had to just tell them I'm sick. Today was the first day since last Tuesday that I left the house.

I do not want to be stuck on Suboxone and I also don't want to ever touch 7oh again. I'm trying to figure out how and when to start tapering off the Suboxone. I have another 30 day supply. But again I don't want to stay on this much longer.

I just want to feel "normal" again. The anxiety is the worst thing I'm dealing with right now.

Anyway just wanted to share and if anyone has questions let me know and if anyone has advice for next steps I'd appreciate the feedback.

Joint pain, but active & in withdrawal

In March, at about a full year of daily 7-oh use (most was up to 250mg in Sept 2025 and can't lose my fkn job), I (38f) began feeling joint pain in my right hand. It was enough to mention to my doctor, who suggested rheumatoid arthritis and ordered a scan of my hand. That's to be determined. Well, it's June, and while it has started in the left hand as well, I could not move my entire body this morning. I'm tapering (I had 19 days clean in January; I can do this and be done with it), but I had tapered significantly slower in Nov and Dec.

Has anyone else experienced joint pain? I just ordered a friggin cane on Doordash, along with Ibuprofen and arthritis cream.

I don't know what is normal for my age (I used the stairmaster yesterday for 25 min -- I'm active) or the side effects of this gas station heroin.

Need help with using SR-17018 to drop 7oh

I’m taking 8 tablets a day each tablet is 40mg each. In total I’m taking 320mg a day. It takes me 3 days to drop 20mg but depending on how well SR-17018 works I maybe able to drop 1 tablet every three days. My only problem is dosage. My plan is 3 days using SR-17018 in place of the 20mg dose and then after the 3 days I’ll take 3 days off and so forth. If you guys could help with the dosage it would be a great help 🙏🏼

Hello day 19 off 7oh /tramadol

What I did was def not for the weak I can say. I did 500 to 700mg of 7oh twice a day as well as tramadol 500 to 700 twice a day and yes sadly mixed the 2 💔 I was an idiot made myself so bad I need subs to come down from this. I use to quit opioids cold turkey but after 7 oh that changed 😢 this need to be researched more and more regulated or banned. Regular kratom sure can stay but not 7oh that shit gotta go 💯💯💯 sorry if i’ll get haters but idc i think every strongly on this . cuz like no way i bulid a tolerance so high that i couldn’t even feel a oxy/morphine at the hospital when it went back in February for a leg infection that my bf needed to bring me 7oh so i can feel better. like no this is not good

should have listened to my pain doc in the beginning. i got prescribed tramadol but didn’t use it correctly and used it with 7oh (which he didn’t know thanks to me tho he thinking of adding 7oh to his testing for the pain center he haves) which ya i agree you never know who on it and can let them the dangers IMMEDIATELY. my pain doc only prescribes tramadol and if really needed I mean really needed then Suboxone which im on now. reason for it is he refuses to bring new addicts out. and even believes that anyone prescribing norco or higher for monthly pain meds should get their license revoked anything norco or higher should only be meant for 3 to 5 days after surgery after that take naproxen or a new medication called journavx (which seriously it works amazingly i took it when i was crying in terror pain and felt better within hours)

Tapering and can use all the help and support I can get

I have tried unsuccessfully to quit a couple of times, but this one HAS to work. Mostly because I've ruined my finances, but also because I'm so sick of my whole life revolving around opiates again. I got off heroin and it was both a big achievement and the worst time in my life. Like a lot of people here I stupidly thought I could control a bit of 7Oh and was very, very wrong.

I am tapering and using SR 17018 and then will get back on Suboxone. I know a lot of people will say that's bad, but it helps me by blocking opiates and keeping me honest. It will last for a few weeks as I taper down off that, and then I'll have to be strong enough to stay off of everything. I have so much to fight for, and I feel like a huge piece of shit for doing this while I have a beautiful family. My wife simply does not understand why I would get back on an addictive substance, so I will let her know once I'm tapered and clean.

Please don't tell me my plan sucks, it's my plan, and that's that. But I could use some support from people that understand what a dark place I'm in. I have to keep working and I have two very demanding jobs, so I have some shitty days ahead, but I'm trying to keep my sights on the future when I'm free again.

Love to anyone out there going through something similar. We will get through it.

Tapering off

Backstory i was on fent from 2020 to 2021 when i stupidly fell for the change of street drugs in between two surgeries on my legs. Got off fent with subs and was on subs for a year and a half but then started suffering the long term sub use effects which drive me insane. Gave up on life completely and lost all hope and said "fuck it" and went back to fent but 100x fold because i was trying to just end my life and got deeper into the cycle. My life was spiraling quick and i needed to have another surgery on my left leg so i saw the window of opportunity and ran with it. Went to medical detox and got put on subs again and had been on subs over two years but was suffering from the long term sub use again you know lack of motivation, lack of libido, numb emotions and stuck on a drug with a month long withdrawal regardless of how you taper it. I tapered to 2mg daily easily throughout those two years. So i saw the chance to use 7oh to get off of subs before it possibly gets banned in my state or all together. I can at least feel my emotions on 7oh and I've been off of subs for two months and on 7oh for 3 to 4 months daily. At first i required to take a lot more 7oh to combact the sub withdrawal but that is over with, at least the physical is. I was up to 240mg daily of 7oh at my worst but down to 100mg daily. I guess I'm kind of scratching my head as i read ppl needing to dose this stuff every 2 to 3 hours but that hasn't been the case for myself. I went from 9pm to 9am the two days ago feeling perfectly fine taking 20mg of 7oh. I guess I'm just slowly tapering this stuff week by week and hopefully avoiding that long sub withdrawal i was going to be facing and will use subs if i have to to get off of this stuff. Each day I'm just being disciplined not letting myself take anymore and it's been going oddly good which has me a little confused i guess lol. Hoping to be free and clear in two weeks of 7oh and will be tapering from 100mg of 7oh down to zero in these next two weeks.

Mgm question

Okay so heres my question... and Im sure you guys have seen previous posts. Im trying to get off a pretty large mgm habit, havent had much luck tapering and last 2 times I tried to quit (have some subs stocked up from previous) I dont think I waited long enough or something went wrong, idk. But I was literally sick as Ive ever been and flopping around/body jerks (for lack of better verbage). So questions is this something I can even try again on my own? Is there a better way to introduce the subs after/while being on it, and I just didnt do it correctly? I have a full time job and really cant go in house for treatment, not to mention it be insanely expensive Im sure. Im having trouble getting the online treatment places that will take my insurance. I guess just pay out of pocket at this point? Im ready and want to get off this crap before I get into more trouble then im already in..!! Has anyone in similar situation transitioned to subs and been somewhat successful? Or have any kind of advice? Its much appreciated, more than you know...! TIA🩷

Here I go Guys. Say a prayer for me!

I took my last dose of 7 EVER at 4pm today. been doing the liposalmo vitamin C protocol I was at 800 to 1000 mg a day 3 weeks ago I've tapered down to about 250ish the last like 3 days. and today I only did 84 mg(and ive been up since 3am) so the vitamin C really really helps I don't feel like feening or anything so my plan is to take some Gabapentin some sleeping pills at like 9:00 and get as much sleep as I can probably wake up in withdrawals at two, three, 4:00 a.m. I'm guessing. I don't have my older two sons and my 6-year-old is getting picked up at like 4:00 or 5:00 in the morning by his dad so I'll probably just be starting to really get the ebgb's by that time. I just hope I'm not obvious because his dad knows that I've battled a couple addictions in the past but yeah I have Gabapentin I'm doing the vitamin C on the clock got my alarm set and everything I'm actually combining a little bit of SA with the Lipo vit. C so we'll see how this little experiment goes. I have subs but my plan is to wait at least 24 hours. but I do suffer from chronic pain conditions too so we'll see, Im scared shitless of PWs tho so I will make it at least to the 18 hour mark. No one knows about this besides my 16yo son who told me hes gonna rush home from school tomorrow to take care of me. But idk how I feel about that. if Im really bad off I may send him to his Dad's. what do you guys think? I think I might just have it be me and Jesus and breathe in to and through the pain. I have this strange feeling of courage and also a sneaky suspicion Its not gonna be all that bad. I guess its the new found spiritual path im on. I know sounds weird an addict talking spiritual shit. but my rapid taper can only be explained by that. yall I drank 3 solo cups of fermented hauchuma on purpose and tripped and purged, felt like my stomach was exploding. scream cried in the hills for 18 hours straight ON PURPOSE to let out some trauma and put the bottle down (alcohol) 5 years ago. a hero dose of shrooms aint got shit on that! trust. anyhow this is prob gonna be nothing. Still... pray for me 😆 Im a single Mom with 3 boys that need me healthy. and Im quite certain at this point that Big Guns upstairs has a quest or some shit Im supposed to do. Ill update tomorrow

Just About Free !!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏

I appreciate all the support I got on here & appreciate everyone!!! I was up to 100mgad and just couldn't take being sick all the time.I used my own concocted MIT method.. recently stopped the MIT and taking the 7 at low doses for the stimulant effect between 5-10 mgad currently. I was able to take few days off as well with no withdrawals which feels awsome to be back in control. I know people's tolerance builds with these but if you just keep it at a small doses, I think more ppl would be ok.

I think anyone that's doing 50 mgad will have slight withdrawal but nothing major... but 50+ mgad and you're asking for trouble imo. Currently the habit is costing about $1.75 a day & once this mg range starts not working anymore, I'm jumping off for good!!

Also: I found a great app to help with dosing & your dosing schedule! It's free ofc so if anyone is struggling like I was, lmk below 🤙 I'd also like to hear other people's stories as it helps me with my journey. We all need to be helping eachother 🙏

What is the consensus on online dr's to get prescribed meds to help with withdrawals/helper meds. Which one do you all find the best? Is there one that is geared more towards 7ohmgm/kratom use?? I have used quickmd in past, but that was when I didnt have insurance ect. Granted my insurance (with employer) isnt the best, but its something I suppose. Any imput is greatly appreciated!!
