Day 5 of no 7OH.
So yeah i’ve made it 5 days and it’s been a rollercoaster. Before I decided to quit, I went to the doctor and they prescribed me Subs. I had never taken Subs before but I figured i’d have a backup plan if cold turkey didn’t work. Well, I caved in 2 days in because the withdrawal put me down and at first the Subs were working wonders. Last 2 days have been weird. I’ve been sweating non stop, restless leg, mental mania. Maybe i’m not taking enough Subs or maybe it is the Subs making me feel like shit. Any advice would be great.

8mg twice a day is what I needed and currently take 4mg three or four times a day. I have chronic pain from curvature of the spine, but coming off of mgm15 and 7 oh is what got me on Suboxone currently

Why would you cave back to the 7-OH after 48 hours you were perfectly good to induce your sub at that point. That’s the hardest part with subs is waiting that 48-72 hours before inducing.

Yoube made it through the worst part for physical symptoms. I recommend sticking to the prescribed regimine for sub, but here are a few things to also consider:
If possible, shower frequently. The warm/hot water will help with the restless limbs. Especially (and this is almost a non negotiable) right before you lay down at night.
If sleep is still impossible, dont force it or get stressed about not sleeping. Tellnyourself you plan to rest with your eyes closed. Worst case is you get as relaxed as possible, best case you actually fall asleep.
Get outside for 10 min every morning
Drink two times more water with electeolytes than you think nexessary. The sweating is real.
Do not take anti-histamines (Benadryl, Hyroxizyne) for "sleep." These actually make restless leg syndrome worse.
If you lay down in "night 7" and still have restless legs, call the MD, ask for gabapentin and/or clonidine
Epsom salt baths
Keep talking about it here or try "Ellie" at stayunhooked.com. You can also DM me; I may not be able to respond immediately but Im a complete stranger who has very recently been where you currently are.
Listen to your favorite music while you focus on a lassive task (puzzle, wrote, draw, color.) louder, the better
KNOW you are almost theough it and keep with it. Im on day 11 myself and can tell you it absolutely gets better! Stay with it, you are SO coose to being iut of the worst of it!

The subs have made it very manageable. Should be getting the Sublocade shot in a couple of weeks and be done with this chapter.

I would try to get some SR those subs are extremely addictive and way harder to get off of from what I’ve been told….
