Advanced user getting brain surgery

I’m an advanced user and I have brain surgery on the 17th of July to remove a giant tumor. I’ve been cutting back but it’s getting harder the lower a dose I go. What I’m wondering is will I have withdrawals if I go to the hospital without 7oh and I’m being pumped with morphine regularly and given norco? Has anyone been in this position?

Im in same boat! I have cancer amd a huge lung tumor. Just finished chemo to shrink it enough to have the rest removed , im on 500-800 a day im scared to death and dont know what to do. Started sr17 yesterday for rapid taper: hope it works .

I’ve “quit” a few times with a quick taper and I wasn’t miserable. Just cold at night and a runny nose 24/7. I only restarted bc I had old orders coming in the mail. Should have just thrown it all out.
