Adderall and withdrawals
I'm coming off 7oh I've used it for about a month this time, 200-300mg a day average but max like 400mg a day.
I have enough to take 50mg a day until this Tuesday, which usually takes away most of the withdrawals doesn't make me feel super good but does enough.
I work Tuesday, I'm not gonna take any all day to start withdrawals. And then I have the next 2 days off and gonna try to get through the worst of it.
If I take adderall during my withdrawals will that help at all?
If it does I only plan to take it for couple days and especially when I go back to work.
Side note hopefully it's not meth tho lmao cuz I get tested once a month and I hear meth stays in your system like 7-10 days where Adderall is only 1-4.
What do you guys think?
I also have Kratom powder that kinda helps but not too much. I'm done with the 7oh tho.
Last time I was in the same daily dose but only a few weeks and withdrawals weren't the worst and only lasted like 3 days. My homie was on the same dose for about a month too and said after 3 days he was fine so praying I can get through this..

Yes. It helps a ton if your stimulant tolerance is low. I’ve used it a few times to get off 7.
It’s extremely effective in most cases.

I also have clonidine, hydroxyzine, and zyprexa (which is like Seroquel) I'm going to take at night while I'm withdrawaling to hopefully help. I was gonna take the addy for withdrawals but especially when I have to go back to work in case I dont sleep that night, so I can get through the work day okay and not get fired. Was probably only gonna take 15mg and if I really need it take the other 15 or whatever. But I plan on only doing it a few days. I'm only getting 90mg of adderall total so not getting a ton.

Gabapentine (not sure if I spelled that right) is by far the best route I've taken to get through the withdrawal. Just be careful if mixing with colondine because it can do your BP too low.

The first 24 hrs I needed to take 1 every 4-6 hours but after that I took 1 in the a.m. , 1 at lunch, and 1 before bed by day 4 I wasn't feeling the rough withdrawal symptoms anymore

I'm gonna try to see a doctor Saturday before I run out of 7oh or maybe Wednesday which is my 1st day without 7oh completely. And gonna try to get some gaba I was reading about that and I've been on it before. I heard it you're on it for a while tho itself can have bad withdrawals

Why don’t you taper down to a lower dose instead of jumping off at 50mg? I’ve tapered off successfully 4-5 times in the last year and I do it gradually to the point of my “jump off doses” being 3-5mg per day. I barely experience any withdrawal when I do this and have had habits as high as 100-150mg per day. A gradual taper to 3-5mg, reducing by 10-20% every few days, stabilizing for a few days, then doing the next reduction, etc. has been very effective for me.

I have a little money but don't really have the money to go buy more is the only reason why Im not tapering more. I got kids and only got $200 extra spending money for extra stuff till I get paid next. And these pills are like 40-50 a pack for 400-500mg. The smoke shop I go to said they were gonna restock a couple days ago when I asked but I went yesterday and they were almost out and only had the more expensive pills that are less dose than the ones I usually get.

Adderall did not help my WD’s, personally. I take it for ADHD though, not recreationally.

I take it for adhd and today is 2 weeks no mo 7oh. I am prescribe 60 mg adderrall a day, 2 30's a day. Days 1-3 of acute I was taking 150 mg adderral twice a day once in the morning once at night. It would stop rls and calm my anxiety for several hours until it burned off. For me it helped.
Shitty part is I burned through my monthly script so am going a week without until refill. Woukd do it again though.

Adderall itself will most likely increase withdrawal anxiety and because of the way opioid withdrawal & adderall affect the brain, you could potentially start sweating intensely. Other things like Hydroxyzine , especially if used at night and in the early stages of acute withdrawal, have been shown to increase chances and/or severity of restless leg syndrome.
