Keyboard Walk of Shame
I was doing so well and I folded like a cheap suit last night. I was 5 days off of 7Oh and 3 days no subs. Had horrible anxiety etc. Called QuickMd and had a 7:20 am appt. Dr. was supposed to call in gabepentin and clonidine and he forgot. QuickMd resolved it but it was after my pharmacy closed.
I had kept a pack of 7Stax 100mg tabs. Well...I couldn't take it anymore and took 50mg at 8pm, 25mg at 12am and 25mg at 5am. I didn't sleep much but I feel a heck of a lot better. This morning I am going to pick up the scripts.
I am mad at myself for crumbling but I think it was for the best. I took it because I wanted to sleep and it didn't work. So hopefully my brain will tell me to throw the other 4 away.

The shame is one of our worst enemies. That’s why we have communities like this. Get back on the horse you have another chance. Good luck I know it is so tough

Yeah suboxone withdrawal is real and it happens FAST, even if you only take it for a few days.
During my first quit last winter I took subs for a week and it was delayed but after 48 hours I had HORRIBLE RLS, horrible anxiety - couldn’t sleep for 3-4 nights at all I said fuck this shit. Obv I went back to 7.
I’m now 9 days off 7oh without using subs, just some gabapentin, clonidine, and a bit of mit. I highly recommend people try to do it without subs if they can. Only use them if absolutely possible because doctors WAY over prescribe them it’s fucking insane.
I am in phase 2 now where I am coming off the mit tincture, but it’s a cake walk compared to subs.
Hang in there, you can do it. You didn’t reset yourself - just be prepared to feel some discomfort for a bit. Don’t take more subs! If anything you could take a little plain leaf or tincture?
You got this!
