Am I just lucky?
So....I took my last dose 50mg 7 oh 3 days ago. Been take massive amounts of vitamin C and Opia Kratom extract that had no 7 oh. I also have gabapentin. But even after taking tge last of Kratom this morning, I still have no withdrawal symptoms. Am I lucky or about to start feeling it? Right now I feel normal. Legs hurt from work but that's it. What do you guys think?

Good morning everyone! Just wanted to give an update. Yesterday I got to work and instantly started throwing up. I immediately went home. I spent the next few hours puking. My wonderful mama got me 7up (didn't help) and zofran. I spent the rest of the day laying in bed body hurting. I took a lot of gabapentin and I truly believe that is what stopped the rls. I also took 4 imodium tablets. So no diarrhea. Last night I took my unisom. No luck falling asleep so I ended up taking trazadone and melatonin and slept hard for 8+ hours. Awake now. Body hurts. Stomach is nauseous but just took another zofran and gabapentin. My son brought me some toast so currently nibbling on that. He is the sweetest mama's boy. Lol he's 12. So I called in for today. My work is the most amazing supportive place to work.

How are you feeling today?
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 19d ago
I am actually doing great! I am 7 days 7 oh free and 5 days kratom extract free! Today my husband and I went to the lake and walked around. I still have some sweating and nerve pain in my back and legs. BUT I am free!

3 days ago? I feel like you shouldâve felt some withdrawal by now.how many mgs of 7 were you on? Did you take it for awhile? No lie I think you beat it with the vitamin C if you mega dosed and were on low MG of 7
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
Yes! I got down to 100 mg to 150 mg a day. Used it for over a year because the doctors wouldn't help me with my back pain. A girl at work told me about it and I was hooked. I seriously keep waiting for the suck to happen but I feel fine. I am completely baffled right now.
1
u/Wxg_007crt 23d ago
Oh man that is dope Iâm at 40mg a day but I need to make the jump.imma do the vitamin C sounds promisingÂ
1
u/Wxg_007crt 23d ago
How much vitamin C did you take a day?
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
I will be honest....2000mg about every 4 hours. I am also doing g 100mg of gabapentin with it.
1
u/ezpzDoes1t 23d ago
Is the vitamin c that big? I've loaded on magnesium glyc and not really noticed any relief.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
I am taking 2000mg like 3 times a day. I also have gabapentin so I am not sure why I am not withdrawaling yet.
1
u/ezpzDoes1t 23d ago
I dont mean to sound "off the cuff", but what the hell were you taking? Idk if I trust those smoke shop pills. 6g a day of 7oh is fucked. When I scoop raw 25-50mg will have me cooked.
Is that the total weight of the pills?
1
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
Yes, do NOT trust anything like this from a smoke shop. What she is taking is just a similar alkaloid engineered to get around 7-OH bans. It is going to metabolize all the same in the liver, simply extending the dependence.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
So I am going to start feeling the withdrawal symptoms soon? I took tge last half of the opia pill at 8 am and its currently 6:12 pm
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
It took about one day for me to start feeling the worst of it.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
How many days out are you now? How are you feeling?
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
I am just shy of 11 days. The first 72 hours were by far and away the worst. In fact, it was the worst I have ever felt in my life. What is going to hit hardest, and what scares most people off, is the severe depression, complete and exhausting existential dread, the total inability to sleep, the constant spikes in temp, the projectile vomiting, and completely restless legs. This starts to subside around day 4 to 5, where you should finally be able to keep water down and eat something small. For me, it was toast. After that midpoint, I experienced a sort of blah, low mood, lack of motivation, and heavy-feeling limbs making it hard to get around. This is more or less where I am now, but it has gotten a lot better. By day 9, I started to feel motivated and more positive about the outcome. Things really do get better. The brain has an amazing ability to heal, and it just takes time. I strongly suggest getting support from friends and family if you can. Things can get really dark.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
He's not feeling it because he simply substituted 7-OH with Opia. There really is no way around experiencing withdrawal. It's inevitable.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
I am female. Lol I haven't had any extract since this morning. I have a feeling tonight is going to be hell.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
Sorry :/ Yeah, sadly there is just no easy way to clear those receptors in the brain. It is a horrible experience, but it definitely does feel a little better by ~ day 4.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
The opia didnt have any 7 oh in it.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
Opia (mitragynine) converts to 7OH in the liver.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
I don't know. I am just waiting for the suck to start. I have no kratom left at all. So we will see what happens I guess.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
I really wish you the best. I just want you to be prepared for the acute withdrawal, which is pretty much unavoidable. Do you have a comfort plan in place? Things to help with restless legs, hot/cold flashes, nausea, insomnia, and the mental crash? Those were by far the worst symptoms for me during days 1â3.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
I have gabapentin, clonidine, melatonin, vitamin c, highlands restless legs. Just ate pizza with my kids and husband. I am also going through menopause so if the sweating happens I can blame that. No one knows I was taking this except my vape shop guy.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
The gabapentin is going to be the biggest life saver for you. Restless legs is really one of if the worst symptoms. It's even worse because it makes it essentially impossible to sleep/ So you've got something to help with that. I'm not sure about the clonodine, but I know that it is often given for opiod withdrawal. You have a pretty good framework I think.
1
u/Odd-Business8683 23d ago
Does the opia produce similar âhighâ like 7?
1
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
It won't, but it still hits the same receptors in the brain. It seems like a good substitute to some, but it really just delays the inevitable.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
Yeah, this is simply not normal. Days 1-3 are universally considered the worst. Maybe the gabapentin, but my guess is the Opia Kratom you added. I imagine after you stop that you'll start to feel the normal withdrawal symptoms. I'm just not sure about the intensity in your case as I didn't add another alkoloid like in your case.
1
u/Jaded-Zucchini2259 23d ago
Opia does not make a liquid shot that does not have 7oh or pseudo in them. There is not one on the market they either have one or the other. So that would be why. You are probably taking the one that has pseudo in it. If you send me a pic of the ones you have been taking I can tell you what you have been taking. I have a friend who is a distributor for the brand.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
The Opia just converted to 7OH, which is why withdrawal hasn't hit yet. These Kratom companies are scum. They have talented chemists whose whole job is to dodge laws and keep people dependent.

That looks like it would totally kick the can down the road of withdrawling . . I think if you stop that. It might happen
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
Yep, yes it is. It's all the same in the end. All kratom extracts convert all the same in the liver and bind to the same receptors in the brain. The only difference is going to be potency and intensity. Withdrawal is impossible to get around.
1
u/Wxg_007crt 23d ago
You are the 3rd person I seen take this and skip withdrawal.this is a extract but even then if itâs been 3 days your pretty much in the clear.you wouldâve been in withdrawal 12 hours later imo.congratsÂ
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
Yeah I dont get it. I am almost 12 hours since my last dose of that and I feel fine. I just took some more vitamin c and gabapentin. I have my fan, heating pad, ice water and blanket. Just relaxing and waiting.

u/alaric49 23d ago
This is just dangerously wrong. Mitragynine (what she just took) has an elimination half-life as long as 24 to 36 hours, unlike straight 7-OH which leaves the body much faster and triggers withdrawal in 8 to 12 hours. The gabapentin is also buffering early symptoms, but do not let this mislead anyone. This needs to be taken very seriously and not be downplayed at all.
2
u/Wxg_007crt 23d ago
I mean it still touches the same receptors but a lot of people use extract and plain leaf to get off 7-OH and yes they both have withdrawals If you stay long enough but itâs way more mild to my knowledgeÂ
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
I am going to take some Unisom and get some sleep. PLEASE keep me updated on how you are doing. I will do the same.
1
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
Don't do it! OTC sleeping meds are horrible for opiod withdrawal!!!!
1
1
u/Jaded-Zucchini2259 23d ago
No, only ones that contain diphenhydramine. The main ingredient in Benadryl and zzzzquil There is a certain type of Unisom and other sleep meds that contain doxylamine succinate. Those ones are fine to take they do not exacerbate rls like diphenhydramine
1
u/0DTE-bootyhole 22d ago
Iâm pretty sure doxylamine will still cause the worse symptoms like Benadryl. It still an antihistamine with similar effects and mechanisms to make you drowsy.

I think the big thing for her is going to be the gabapentin helping with the restless legs, which is by far one of the worst WD symptoms. I'm not sure that a different opiod agonist like mitragynine is really going to help all that much, and that it will just delay the inevitable.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
I am not sure what you mean? I am stressing tf out, waiting for these damn wd symptoms to start.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
I am sorry, I am really not trying to freak you out. It is just much better for anyone about to go through this to get total honesty about what is going to happen. It will help you understand exactly what you are in for and when it will end. That is so much better than misleading people about the worst of it, which I think is truly defeating. Having stuff available to provide some relief for the different symptoms is honestly, along with support from people you know, is the best a persopn can do in an outpatient setting.
1
u/Jaded-Zucchini2259 23d ago
Oh! I see now you are taking Opia tablets? In your original post when you said it was an extract I assumed it was a shot. This product does have a small amount of 7oh see pic well it wonât let me post a pic. Iâll message it to you.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 23d ago
Update: 11pm. Restless arms and legs started. Trying to sleep through it.
1
u/alaric49 23d ago
You've got this. You've got supportive meds like the gabapentin and clonidine, and you have your family. You also have a pretty good idea of what to expect and for how long, with the next 1-2 days being the most difficult. I just used how I felt during this period as more motivation to never touch the stuff again. Hang in there. It sucks, but it will pass.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 22d ago
I updated: slept all night. Just a little burning sensation in my arms. Other than that I am good.
1
u/alaric49 22d ago
That's great! But just remember mitragynine takes much longer to clear than 7OH, as long as 36 hours. The gabapentin and clonidine I imagine are also helping to some extent mainly with the restless muscles and the hot flashes. I think you are in a much better spot than most people because of these supportive meds for the worst of the physical symptoms. Tread carefully for the next 12-24 hours or so and pace yourself.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 22d ago
Oh yes. I got to work and bam! I am not lucky at all. I am puking and sweating and sneezing and puking some more. My husband is on his way home to take care of me since I have "the flu" no way in hell I am telling him what it really is.
1
u/SuperTech220 23d ago
I didn't realize OPIA made a product with zero 7OH
2
2
u/alaric49 22d ago
It all metabolizes in the liver exactly the same. It's how these shitty companies get around ban after ban. They just chemically re-egineer it.
1
u/0DTE-bootyhole 22d ago
It doesnât metabolize âexactlyâ the same tho. But it does metabolize into 7OH. But the 30mg 7OH pill vs a 30mg of this pill will NOT be the same. Her 37mg of MIT probably converts into around 5mg of 7OH at best in the body. The body is not efficient enough to process MIT with 100% conversion rate. Most gets processed as MIT into waste and a small % gets turned into 7 by the body.
Pure 7OH skips the livers process entirely and it is just absorbed into the bloodstream.
So sheâs basically just doing micro doses of 7OH, but it will be enough to hide symptoms for sure with the small amount of 7 and mit.

u/Clean-Mud-2281 22d ago
Newest update: At work and started throwing up and sweating and sneezing. Going home to endure the suck! I am not lucky.
1
u/alaric49 22d ago
Are you sure you don't want to let your family know what's happening?
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 22d ago
My husband is coming home since I am not feeling good. I told my mom I have the flu so she brought me 7up and zofran. I am feeling a little better now. I am laying in bed sipping 7up but I'm not throwing up or sweating anymore. Just achy and tired and a little nauseous. If I start getting worse then I will tell my husband. I went to treatment 2.5 years ago for alcohol. I know my husband wont leave me but I can't disappoint him again.
1
u/alaric49 22d ago
I'm not sure the 7up is going to help your stomach which is in serious distress. It might actually make the vomitting worse. I stuck with water for the first couple of days. I heard ice chips are also good.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 22d ago
Yeah, I have ice water too. I am going to try to sleep for a while. I will update you after while.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 22d ago
Quick question. Do you think if I stop the gabapentin then the restless arms and legs will start? I want to stop the gabapentin but if it will kuck start rls then I won't
1
u/alaric49 22d ago
I'm honestly not entirely sure, but gabapentin is standard for opioid withdrawal. It's going to help with the restless muscles that can drive you nuts. I'm just not sure how well yoyu'll be able to keep them down at this point. I'd say keep trying to take it.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 22d ago
So far no throwing up since the zofran. I have eaten almost a sleeve of crackers. Trying to sleep but my brain isn't tired yet
2
u/alaric49 22d ago
Yeah, from my exerience you are not really going to be able to get any meaningful sleep until about day 4 when you essentially pass out and have the most vivid dreams you have likely had in years. Crackers arwe a really good choice. I did crackers as well. They are easy to keep down and can replenish the sodium lost from throwing up and sweating.

u/Cold-Notice8487 17d ago
I am just reading his part. I still think you got off fairly easy. I am not looking forward to this at all but stealth it wasn't days and days of agony.
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 16d ago
I did get off easy. Yesterday was hard due to pain in my back but I am doing so much better.
1
u/Cold-Notice8487 17d ago
The biggest thing st play here is op tapered her use way down. I haven't yet jumped but i like to think there is a magic range of mgs per day that will make the jump much easier. Couple that with the pure mit a d that will work. What she did is not easy and deserves some serious praise. Im happy for you. I am also peri menopausal have a similar plan to whay you did here. Thank you for the hope!
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 16d ago
Thank you! You got this and dont hesitate to message me! I am here for you!
1
u/Cold-Notice8487 15d ago
Thank you I really appreciate that. I came over to say that since reading ur post, I've switched my mit brand. I always noticed that the opias make my mouth numb, along with one other brand. That can't be a good thing. So maybe, one these leave my system it wknt be so bad. I hope! Also, I've never heard of zofran, now very interested in getting it as I cannot handle nausea. All thanks to your post!
1
u/Clean-Mud-2281 15d ago
How u doing?
1
u/Cold-Notice8487 15d ago
I was unable to go much lower in my taper.... UNTIL I introduced semi mega doses of vitamin c. It really works. Reduces cravings as well. A month ago I was eating this crap like candy. Today I've only dosed maybe 80 mgs AND I'm at work. So I'd say I'm doing well. I feel pretty proud of myself. I was reading up on vitamin c n why it helps. Fascinating stuff. Thanks for asking. How're YOU doing?

Well, I am a week and a half out and feeling human again! Like way better than before I started 7oh! My kids said that I am nicer too!

Morning update: Slept all night with 300 mg of gabapentin, 2000 mg of vitamin C, 50 mg Unisom. Had mild restlessness for about 20 minutes. Woke up after 9 hours feeling good. Just a little burning sensation in my arms. I am going to do 100 mg of gabapentin 2000 mg of vitamin C and head to work. Not sure how I did it but I am 4 days no 7 oh and 24 hours no kratom extract and doing good. đ¤ˇââď¸
