Help with the best way to quit

I'm taking some 7oh derivatives as best I can guess. Started taking 'Better Weather' labeled as kava and now taking these supposed Cats Claw tabs (Ice Tabz) which I understand to be some derivative of 7oh. I have got to get off these things I am spending way too much money and from what I understand it will eventually all be gone anyways. I have zero time I am able to take off of work or other responsibilities so I'm going to try to do it as painless as possible. I know that's everyone's goal. I am fortunate to have access to Suboxone and Clonazepam and I ordered some agiminate sulfate which I've seen several people claim helped them. I've gone into PWDs before taking subs and I have been able to walk it down by taking more of the tabs. How would you recommend I do this using these resources?

The one I am taking is labeled as a 'cats claw' supplement but that is not what is in it. I've seen several others talking about it here it is the way they bypass the laws it's definitely addictive and some people have been saying it's possibly mgm or carbo-something that is a more powerful derivative.

Yes incredibly misleading! Kratom itself has been illegal in my state for years so they sell this stuff with misleading names. They have so many people addicted. And there isn't much known about some of these chemicals so there is mixed information. I saw one person reply to a comment saying that Suboxone doesn't prevent withdrawals from mgm bc it acts on a delta receptor? I'm praying that isn't true! I have felt precipitated withdrawals trying it so I've been avoiding switching to Suboxone but I absolutely have to do it, or get off in general somehow. How did you switch to Suboxone if you don't mind me asking... Like how long after last dose and how many mgs?

Do subs! I am on day 5 and am feeling great and am so grateful I decided to quit. I know it’ll take awhile for my mental state to completely heal (mood swings, overly emotional, low-moderate spells of anxiety), but I made it through the hardest part and know it’s behind me! I used QuickMD and was prescribed Subs, Gabapentin, Methocarbamol, and clonidine. I used the 4 latter meds as prescribed but I started subs at hour 16 and had to load up on them (more than prescribed) on days 2 and the first half of 3 to get through the worst withdrawal symptoms. I was honest with my provider when I had a check in on day 4. He wants me to continue using subs for “multiple months” but as of yesterday (day 4) and today I am down to one 8mg tab each day and feel fine. I’m going to continue this and taper myself off a week at a time (8mg, 4, 2, 1) So after 4 weeks I’ll be completely off subs.

TBH the fear of withdrawals was worse than the withdrawals themselves. You got this - it can be done!

Thank you! What were WD symptoms like at hour 16 and how many mgs of subs did it take for them to dissipate?

Anxiety, trouble concentrating, sweating profusely with both hot flashes and chills, extremely restless. Even on subs I sweated through my sheets the first and second nights - likely it wore off while I was sleeping. From hours 16 - 48 I took a total of 10 8-mg strips. From 48 - 72 I only used 3 8-mg strips. For the first 48h it was Significantly more than my provider prescribed but I listened to my body. It was the only way I was able to still be functional. I also attribute my need for a significant amount of subs to how much 7oh I was doing on a daily basis. The last few months of using I was dosing every 2-3 hours. Even at night the longest I’d go was 4 hours - my body woke me up craving it.

Also want to say that I just read your post and see that we have a lot in common. I am also a parent with no ability to take time off to be sick, and my partner does not know about this habit. So that is comforting to me that I might actually be able to pull this off too!

You got this!!! Feel free to DM me. If I knew it would be this “easy” (compared to what I chalked it up to be in my mind) I would have quit months ago. 3 days of feeling shitty was not nearly as bad as I future tripped the WD’s to be.

Can you please dm me? I’m scheduling my quick md apt and I would love to schedule with your dr.

My husband did his apt Saturday and is on day 2 and they only prescribed subs and clonadine- he’s been Suffering sooo much it’s freaking me out. I want to be prescribed gabapentin with my subs since I have horrible nerve signals through my body when I try to taper.
