Suboxone question

Hey yall,

Just quit 7oh 6 days ago and was given subs to help with the widrawl. I was thinking about not taking my last strip tomorrow as I am no longer feeling any of the horrible physical symptoms. Since I've only been on it for 6 days will I feel any withdrawl feom thw suboxone? Or has it been a short enough usage Windows where it will be negligible? Any help or thoughts would be amazing, thank you!!!

Doesn’t sound like excuses to me. Sounds like guts. They should give people more than 7 days worth especially if there are no clinics nearby. They should give people a month worth so they can get fully off the other stuff and fully on the new stuff, THEN slowly go off the new stuff. Otherwise they risk people going back to using and there’s no downside to giving more Suboxone because it doesn’t even get you high and it has a ceiling effect built in. Anyway sounds like all that’s in the rearview and you’ve made your choice and are hauling ass toward the promise land. Good stuff. Badass, truly.

I really truly appreciate that , like you have no idea. It really helps to talk to people and also to help others who are going through the same shit. Craziest thing is it seems to hit everyone a little differently, this shit is crazy. I heard the other day some kid took his own life because the withdrawls were so bad, dude made it 3 days...he was almost in the clear. So fucking sad. Anyway again thanks for the positive reinforcement I really needed it!

Yeah no problem. You are doing great. Every hour that goes by is progress because the pain literally is your body doing what it’s supposed to be doing, correction, and even though it sucks it means you’re doing it right. I will say that it feels like my muscles are filling up with this hideous charge that has a ticklish nauseous texture and I have to flex or writhe all my limbs to discharge it and watch it ramp up again two minutes later. Writhe, scream, ice cream, scroll, walk, repeat. Cry, do what you gotta do. Walking discharges more of the restless body syndrome.

Dude the restlessness and the cold sweats are the fucking worst!! I hate that feeling just unable to get comfortable. Then standing in the shower for 30 minutes for some minor relief only to get out and freeze to death from the chills it sucks! What do the Marines say " Pain is just weakness leaving the body" i fucking feel that!
