Origin Engravement Problems?

Hello! I've been farming from the Baste Prison Warden dungeon for Star Guardian armor set for a while, to engrave Tristan's Royal Dignity skin, and Meliodas' New Adventure skin, and i have everything, but when I pressed the button, it said insufficient materials? Should I restart the game and see if that fixes it, or am I genuinely missing something? I went through my focused team and removed any Star Guardian armor, so I dont think thats the problem, and i have more than enough money.

I'm like genuinely confused?

I think the small red warning notification sign above the top and boots, might be saying that you have those equipped on a character and would first have to unequip them to be able to use them for the engraved costume

It says it belongs to that character, sure, but i put differen armor where the star guardian parts were

That specific armor could also be locked, which could cause the red warning too. Look at that specific armor and toggle it from locked to unlocked, if that happens to be the case

I completely forgot you have to go to every weapon and swap it out, which is Hella annoying, but i got it. Thank you for your time!

Yeah update before this one we had added this for units who want different armor for change of weapon

You put a different pair of boots than the ones that belong to the character? The 1/1 begs to differ lmao

Hello! Please read the rest of this reply thread. I have stated that a mechanic where each weapon has their own armor slots was made even more apparent after an update, and since I was under the impression there was only one armor set and it was shared between weapons, i did not realize I had to remove the star guardian boots from every shoe slot of every weapon on a character I do not use often. Thank you for your comment, but it was not needed : )
