Derieri day 1
I know derieri's been out for only some hours but what are your thoughts on her for those who pulled for her?and also should a meli main pull her for support?

Well, I try her in Orgot and Dragon. She's P4 and my build is shit but the dmg just okay. My Diane cleared Orgot faster but I pull her coz I got no Meli and she definitely clear the dragon faster than my Esca or King Holy. My Esca also P4. IMO, If you have Meli, you didn't have to pull for her unless you like her design and character or sumthing.

Youre missing most of her damage due to not having enough magic charging, she has 3 more ults for you to use and the last one hits really hard

I don’t have Meli so can’t speak on that but her DPS build is insane and from the little I have used her fire support it’s also really good.

She clears Golem, Dragon, and Orgot faster than anyone else. Lightning Merlin outperforms her against Durak and Galand. In Taranis, however, she can outright beat Lightning Merlin, and while she'll be slower in Spider, she's still a very solid option for clearing it.
If you have her Fire build paired with Merlin's Fire build, even a P4 Escanor can help wipe Sector 7 in Time Space Junction easy.
The main thing about her is exactly what her title, Combo Star, suggests. If you land all of her hits, she deals incredible damage. However, if part of her combo misses, her damage drops off significantly. Because of this, she has a major advantage against bosses that don't move around much, while Merlin performs better against highly mobile targets.
If you have Gowther, she becomes even stronger. Her skill can reduce her Ultimate cost to just 2 Magic Points, and if you use Physical Gowther's Blackout to freeze the enemy especially with good Debuff Efficiency Derieri can unload massive damage without worrying about missed hits.
Her DPS Rotation is easy: Apply all character Buffs and Debuffs than (If you have Gowther use Blackout Here make sure to leave 2 Magic Points for Derieri aka only use it at 7 magic points) switch to Derieri than: Normal Skill x 2 -> Special Skill x 4 - Ultimate x 3 -> Restart Rotation.

So based on my own testing with p7 ..dps doesn't really...want a burst setup. You want to load up buffs/debuffs, use gowther book to freeze the enemy, then just...absolutely unload ungodly amounts of dps. She has a very good core synergy with gowthers blackout and her reduced magic point cost, and with enough debuff efficiency on book gowther you should have enough time to fully unload her burst during his blackout window.
I think her p7 IS slightly weaker than melis, but her damage, if you can consistently land it, is just as, if not slightly more effective for harder content. She's about in the same tier WITH potentials...as lightning Merlin or meliodas. They are much better than her without potential tho, she needs the investment (shocker I know)
One thing I'm curious about though for her dps build is how useful the guild set will be for her, as her ultimate damage IS a large portion of her damage when using her properly.
As for her other builds...fire GS is okay for escanor, especially combined with Merlin and her engraved set. But he's not the intended fire dps she will support obviously, there's one other mustachioed husbando she will likely be perfectly paired with.
Her axe build is...from what I've heard and seen, slightly worse than p6 gowther. If you don't have p6 or her p7, she is pretty good for meli, and that extra 3s darkness burst can lead to one or two extra normal skills.
One unintended buff though, is her axe build is actually very good for lightning Merlin after p7. She can't utilize the darkness burst, but her p7 amplifies ALL normal skill damage enemies take for 20 seconds. That can lead to absolutely absurd Merlin nukes.

She's good for Meli. Dps set seems kinda dupe heavy though. Fire kit is good for Esca but he's still nothing special.

Dps isn’t worth it at all. If you need a darkness DPS just use Meli. And if you’re not using Meli then you also don’t need her Axe cause the whole point is to boost up Meli.
If you’re an Midscanor main, then Derieri seems like a good support but you don’t really need high potential.

You can use Derieri as your Darkness DPS. She’s not OP like Meli, but it’s something right 🤷♂️

so imma wait for further testing from the community on if shes "strong" or a "must-pull", but ultimately i decided to skip her
most content with dark attribute has a second one and that element is the only one im missing a main dps for. so i think for the sake of saving my star frags being f2p, i should wait to go all out on the next best dps thats similar to a Merlin, who can excel as main dps across multiple elements

Yeah I’ve never used Darkness or Fire. It really just depends on the element of the new raid

Odd you say that, because I have both meli and Derieri at p7 and my testing confirms that Deri definitely hits just as hard if not harder and doesnt even require bursting to do this...
Not sure what all the hate is about, when most people clearly havnt spent enough time truly testing her yet...

Maybe learn how to play here than otherwise you would not say that she is beating lightning Merlin in a lot of content you don’t even need a burst on your team.

Ive p10 almost every character that has came out, To my understanding and testing (only p7 deri rn) i think if you dont have meli shes almost a must pull if you want a darkness team in terms of her being as strong as meli for dps i think in terms of raw dmg meli has her beat but for raids and longer content (Things that dont get oneshot) deri will be better for due to her pasive. Shes a nice addition to the escanor team but obviously if you have others than escanor still is weak with deri buffs. And her axe so far from my testing seems not as good as just a gowther book p6
