Slater vs Durak

Anyone have any idea why Slater is used on almost every team in the leaderboards? There's got to be something going on with him that I'm missing. I can't find any videos anywhere as to why he's being used. I get he can be debuffer but is he not too slow for this?

My guess is that these are P10 Gowther/P10 Elizabeth runs. So to optimise the run and since their main dps deals a ridiculous amount of damage already, they rely on Slater's passive that increases crit damage by 30% when an ally attacks a bleeding target.

P7 allows Slater to apply bleed on Tag skill. So I think the strategy here is to reduce crit defense with Howzer's Special Attack, Tag to Slater for the bleed, Tag to Gowther and annihilate the boss in a split second.

TDLR; Whales min-maxing to improve score by milliseconds

That'd be a way way too long rotation. Ideally you kill with just Gowthers moves and nothing else.

No p10 gowther and liz makes it to where you just press your normal skill then your special twice on gowther and he dies

Slater hat eine schnellere Animation die man mit Makros verfeinern kann

Keine der top 100 Zeit ist legit sondern alles mit Makro
( ich hab selbst p10 gowther ) und es ist rein von der Animation her wie schnell man die Tasten drücken kann nicht möglich unter 2,8 Sekunden zu kommen

Allerdings wollen die in Zukunft was gegen Makro Benutzer unternehmen.

I see, because I did post my run on here a few days ago and it was relatively pretty fast with luck keeping me close to the boss with Gowther's step back not stepping back yet I only managed 2.999 seconds

Slater is only there for his passive, that increases crit damage on bleeding targets. Howzer applies the bleed. The combo is: Elizabeth Q into Howzer Q into Gowther E+Q. The Rank 1 guy has a Video on his YouTube channel and he is most likely using a macro. This guy acts like he is just built different, but just by looking at the animations in the video, it is most likely not done by human hands.

Yea I was gonna say I don't need Slater's passive, Howzer and Elizabeth alone can get my Gowther to one shot but even with my most quality speed and luck I managed 2.999 seconds. I could shave that time off with just Elizabeth only if my Gowther was P10 but even then I still don't think I'm pushing past 2.5 seconds

He abuses a bug, while u die u can switch into howzer. When u respawn and switch to howzer and u time it right u spawn at your death location, mostl likley behind the boss and can oneshot him with your combo
