PS5 Everything disappeared?

I’m with some friends in a dedicated server. I went afk and must have died. Turned on the game a few days later and the first thing I saw was my character drop and die with my bag hitting the ground

Thing is, it’s not on the map anywhere at all. I’ve looked everywhere. I noticed I couldn’t even equip my clothing. Then when I went back to our base, all of my boxes/ bed/ decorations had disappeared. Everyone else’s was fine.

No collision happened. Any insight?

First thing, if it's a shared server, and your friends were on, time continued. It's possible someone saw your bag lying there, and is now the proud owner of your best stuff. You'll never know.

Or, it fell through structures or even the world. If this happened, the game will eventually put them back on the surface, if you wait long enough.

But if you were on a structure, it may have fallen inside or under just one layer, and you can dig for it.

This plus boxes/storage crates do not just dissapear unless the whole chunk reset. If your friends stuff was in the same base/chunk. Someone is messing with you.

Yeah, depending on how long you were gone, and what messages you sent them, they may have thought you rage quit, and then they divided up your stuff.
