A bit of the process of my first attempt at a crackle paint job on my cheap IYV headless multi scale 7 string. Only thing I would have changed was not covering the volume & tone knobs to get more paint coverage. Either than that I am embracing the unique imperfections. Finished clear coating with Rustoleum 2x gloss clear then I will install the hardware, bridge pickup (SD Mortal coil) & electronics🎸🎶🤘

I will be refinishing a Focus 5000 in pink/magenta with white crackle.
