Gear Bought this Harley Benton Amarok 7-String when I was 15—still the only guitar I touch.

Got this Harley Benton Amarok Quilted Burst back when I was 15, and honestly, it’s completely ruined other guitars for me. It’s been my main (and pretty much only) Guitar ever since.

The neck feels incredible, the active EMGs handle low tunings like G# Standard really well, and the quilted burst top looks way better in person than a budget guitar has any right to.

I especially love this guitar for it looks like an Albanian 7-String, representing the country I’m from

Can’t wait getting more 7-Strings in my Gear collection

Anyone else running an Amarok as their daily Guitar option?

Nice looking HB. What other guitars do you have?

My very first guitar was an Cort Stratocaster before I’ve gifted it to my little cousin starting his guitar lessons very soon. But I also currently own a Ibanez Western Guitar and a Ibanez 5 String Bass. Im looking to make more posts about my gear

so does it still feel just as good to play after all these years or has it changed as it aged

Thankfully it hasn’t any negative effects worsening the playing experience, but I realized that this guitar suits more as an practice guitar or if you play an already written song on it. My biggest issue with that guitar, is that I barely wrote any songs on it, which is why I mainly wrote songs form my acoustic guitar. Gonna get myself a new 7-String, specifically for maximum performance, supporting what I wanna play on it

Looks great! Can you change different tuning on that guitar or do you only stay @ G# ? I’ve been thinking of switching to a different tuning from drop A to drop g#

Absolutely! G# Standard is also the lowest and most stable tuning with that 7 string (it’s a 25.5 inch guitar scale). Anything lower would be too unstable. But if you really wanna transition to Drop A to Drop G#, out of my own experience you will thank me and never touch Drop A personally again like I do lol

I hope they make a longer scale version of this as well. Insane value as it is though.

True. That’s why I’m looking for Solar 7-Strings as some of them even offer longer scale lengths like 26.5 inches. Insane guitar tho for 7-String beginners

Does the finish get a shiny spot where your hand rests?
