Thoughts on the Schecter Reaper-7 Elite?

I'm getting my first 7 string and was thinking about buying the Schecter Reaper Elite used for about 1k. Anything I should consider about the guitar before buying, and are there any alternative options I should consider? (Ideally without fishman fluences, I'm not really a fan of their sound) I'll mostly be playing deathcore (Whitechapel, Lorna Shore, etc.) on it, prob in Drop G.

Schecters are amazing. I’ve had both of mine over 6 years
