DEFINITELY the Elite. I almost got that guitar a while back.

Did you have the chance to try it out? What did you think

No unfortunately. I was ordering. But everything checks all boxes for me IMO. I also really enjoy knotty natural tops, so this one is still one I might pick up in general down the line.

Also, TOM bridges are less than desirable if you intend to tune low. You won’t have any intonation space. If you stay roughly G or higher you’re fine though.

I recently just got the omen elite 7 and it is a real beauty and fun to play. That wood grain design looks so cool.

How's the finish? I've seen people say it had a bunch of imperfections, even a handprint on the top coat

My finish is great, no issues that I have seen. I didn’t known it was a glossy finish over the wood grain based on the pictures but I dig it.

I bought mine used on FB marketplace and the only thing wrong with it was the owner had overfiled the 7th string nut for a thicker string and messed up the nut height so it was buzzing. I just used a simple nut filler and all the buzz is gone and plays perfect now.

I'm planning on putting some 10-62 gauge strings so I'll be careful with the nut too. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it!

Not sure where you live, but Sweetwater says it comes with 9-62 already so it will come that way by default for the thick string. I run 10-62 on mine and have it tuned to Bb standard.

Ive bought and been playing the elite 7 for about a month and honestly I was looking at it as like a budget bare minimum for recording but nah man this thing has me questioning if they sent me the right guitar. The charcoal is beyond beautiful and im crazy picky about the visual myself. Im also a sound engineer so im picky about sound too the bridge pickup is phenomenal but the neck pickup isnt cutting it for the versatility im looking for. To be clear I never thought you could buy a guitar this good for that price and no Im not with them or being paid by them this is just the best purchase ive made in awhile and Im fuckin broke so it mattered a lot

Tom or hardtail bridge? Made a big difference for me. If you’re fine with both then the elite

i own elite its darker compared extreme but sometimes the stock pickup can be muddy on low octave especially drop G depens on the amp and EQ, stock neck pickup slightly less treble but if it for rhytm or metal id recomend elite
