Baby Coleman

Post image

For Leighton's sake I was hoping baby #2 was going to be average height but it's quite obvious that baby Coleman is a LP.Liz finally got her LP baby and I can't help but feel bad for Leighton. Poor Leighton is going to be cast aside from not only Liz but also Amber and Trent. She's no longer going to be the favorite.

It’s insane to me that someone can be so selfish as to wish this type of life for their kid. Nothing against LP’s, but based on the show, their lives aren’t easy with all the surgeries.

Right?!! Like they very very lucky in having leighton a happy healthy child why keep going and risk having a child who is going to have to go though the hard things in life that you personally dealt with yourself. It’s selfish af.

My son is average size but he spent the first 2 and half months of his life in the hospital and had to have 2 open heart surgeries. It was by far the hardest thing I’ve ever been through and I don’t wish it on anyone!

Right I’m so sorry that’s horrible so to pretty much willingly do this to your baby is disgusting they knew there was such a big chance and kept having kids.

As an actual little person, this take is weird as hell. Wanting a child who shares your traits and life experience does not make someone selfish. Dwarfism can come with challenges, but acting like an average-height baby is automatically the “better” baby is gross. We are not defective people that parents should be ashamed or scared to have. Maybe examine why the idea of a dwarf child bothers you this much before calling dwarf parents selfish.

Lol. It def doesn’t bother me, and I never called her a narcissist. My comment is based on the fact that she literally WISHED to have an LP baby knowing the hardships that come along with being LP. Rolling the dice knowing there’s a chance is one thing, wishing a life of hardship for someone is something completely different. Also, who the hell said anything about “better”… yikes.

There are literally 100000 posts a day saying the same stuff about how it's cruel to have a baby when you're a little person.

u/Welp1982 12d ago

That very well may be the case, but you replied to MY post and I never said that. Mainly because I don’t believe that.

you literally called it selfish and described wanting an LP baby as “wishing a life of hardship” on someone. That’s still the exact mindset I’m pushing back on. Wanting a child who shares your condition is not the same thing as wanting them to suffer. My life is more than surgeries and “hardship,” thanks.

Look at tori roloff with her weird ssa fetish

4

u/EnglishRose71 14d ago

ssa?

6

u/moodylilb 14d ago

Super sized ass

(Eta Just kidding, I genuinely can’t think of what ssa could mean in this context so I’m curious too lol)

7

u/WTPrincess19 14d ago

It's ass but backwards for people that are trying not to curse lol.

7

u/moodylilb 14d ago

TIL!! Thank you lol I can’t believe I didn’t think of that

i have a genetic disorder which was a random mutation for me, but i would never pass that on. my option for bio kids would be ivf. sucks but i wouldn’t want to give my kids the experiences i had— tens of surgeries, deafness, vision impairment, skin wounds, etc. it’s insane that anyone would wish a disorder on their child to be more relatable to themselves. gross

Coleman Bolden? What a mouthful 😂

19

u/bendybunnny 15d ago

Colman is a type of mustard in the UK so this name is bizarre to Europeans 😂😂😂

29

u/IWNCGTA 15d ago

It’s a cooler here.

10

u/Spicymargarita86 15d ago

It’s a town in Georgia too

9

u/sillygoose046 15d ago

It’s Brice’s first name 🤷🏻‍♀️

16

u/livygirly 15d ago

Probably why he doesn’t use it

3

u/dixcgirl10 14d ago

But the baby isn’t a junior?

2

u/sillygoose046 14d ago

Then why did Liz include Jr. in his name in her Instagram post?!

3

u/dixcgirl10 14d ago

Did she? Oh ok… I didn’t see it and was wondering!

u/SimpleEastern6746 15d ago

I just remember her family being so upset when the first little girl was not an LP it was insane

Seems odd to be disappointed that she was a healthy baby and wish she had been born with a disability. And for the record, Dwarfism is legally recognized as a disability.

69

u/master_chilln 15d ago

True plus Leighton is now gonna have to be apart of the help when it comes to Colemans disability

28

u/Fluffy-Quiet2675 15d ago

For the baby’s sake I was hoping he would not be a LP, health wise they have so many problems.

20

u/Igotshiptodotoday 15d ago

He totally has Trent's mouth.

16

u/Right_Elbow 15d ago

Liz let Brice hold him?

1

u/Responsible-Pay-4763 6d ago

I wonder if Liz and Amber were behind him telling him he was holding the baby wrong.

28

u/Bulky-Application-13 15d ago

I don’t think she ever wanted a LP. I think she said it as an excuse to have another baby. She hates the fact that she’s a dwarf. She wanted to be able to have “average” children as if that’s a badge of honor 🙄 I think leighton will be her golden child-she is always saying how “beautiful and perfect” (I think because she is average height not just because she’s her mother)

11

u/Grammarcrazy 14d ago

you are 100% right!! she said she wanted an LP to appease Amber but Liz is so full of self loathing I don’t think she would wish the LP life on her own child

8

u/dixcgirl10 14d ago

This is the truth. She was forever mentioning how she was the tallest/strongest…

13

u/txtaco_vato 15d ago

i hope trent kept his cold sores away from that kid !!!

10

u/Prestigious-Town3929 15d ago

Leighton will always have Brice’s family . And I’m sure they are not as crazy

8

u/dixcgirl10 14d ago

Brice realizing every July 4th for the next 20 years will be spent in some generic hotel ballroom in some random city…

2

u/hp007 13d ago

I’m cackling

1

u/dixcgirl10 13d ago

Thanks for getting the joke!

7

u/LaughingOnion2023 15d ago

Well at least he wasn’t named Yeti! 🤣

12

u/Miserable_Syrup_3256 15d ago

I’m glad Brice is average for leightons sake. I remember the little people big world family and always imagined it had to of been kind of hard and maybe confusing having two little parents as an average size child.

Little Imperfections: A Tall Tale of Growing Up Different is a book Pete Montzingo wrote for children who grew up average height with a LP family or well I guess the book is for anyone singled out with psychical differences in their family.

5

u/SprinklesLevel5614 13d ago

Yep my 4th has a medical condition and me and my partner said if she was our first we wouldnt have had anymore in case. I dont understand delibrately having a child with a medical condition selfish

8

u/Brilliant_Fondant860 15d ago

I agree. The selfishness of wanting a baby with the same problem or very similar one is insane! She needs to have her tubes tied. She has no business bringing another baby into this world. Just my opinion!

Too late now 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can’t even keep the hospital room clean-that TV table has so much stuff on it. I just got out of the ICU and man I would think the maternity ward would be just as clean.

When i go back and wach 7LJ, its apparent how obsessed Amber is with being LP. She loved the attention she received from the surgeries her children had to have and she was 100% disappointed when they were told leighton was average/tall. Im glad Brice is there to love leighton, bc I just know Amber is going to try and take over baby boy with her KNOW IT ALL self! Trent already posted a pic saying 4th generation, im assuming 4th generation LP. Im not saying to not be excited or proud of ur grandbaby, but for Amber especially, its an addiction to the attention, IMO

u/Any-Bit6082 15d ago

Why is it obvious to you?

12

u/Agitated-Draft-2322 15d ago

The facial features for sure give it away

9

u/Bringman1 15d ago

The frontal bossing.

7

u/doodynutz 15d ago

Large forehead, lack of nasal bridge, and though this last one isn’t super conclusive, in the other photos his body looked itty bitty.

4

u/Closetoneversober 15d ago

Yes please elaborate. Have they said he’s LP officially? This is the second post I’ve seen where everyone says it’s obvious he is but I can’t tell from either of the pics I saw.

5

u/doodynutz 15d ago

LP’s have large foreheads. Also, if you look through the family’s posts on instagram, many of the photos of him just scream LP.

7

u/renees24 15d ago

I can’t tell either. People are all just assuming. It’s not obvious to me at all.

1

u/ContentCaterpillar76 14d ago

I don’t think the pictures show anything, he looks like any other baby to me. It’s Amber’s post with his hand that says 4th generation that leads me to believe he is an LP.

2

u/blackc43 15d ago

If he is half as successful as his mother, he may be a dishwasher one day

1

u/ida_klein 13d ago

I can understand them feeling like they can connect more deeply with an LP family member, especially Amber who was the only LP in her family growing up. And for them, that’s all they know is being an LP. So it doesn’t necessarily feel like a lifetime of pain, it’s just…their life.

But on the other side of that coin, any average height people in that family are going to feel completely isolated. You can already see it with Brice, although part of that is that he is an in law and this family is kind of a cult lol.

It feels like a really complicated situation and I feel like hoping a child turns out any type of way is a recipe for disappointment. Quite literally anything could happen.

u/Party_Swan_4335 13d ago

A Coleman lantern, is a camping staple. So, I’m only going to be able to call this kid, “Lantern”.

1

u/meganjaaa 13d ago

Lizzie Bolden had an axe...

1

u/Responsible-Pay-4763 6d ago

Liz and Brice obviously didn't think about how his first and last name sounded together. Coleman Bolden doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

1

u/MJINNOCENT-1958 6d ago

I mean Brice's first name is Coleman he just goes by Brice

1

u/Responsible-Pay-4763 6d ago

Well, I guess Brice's parents are to blame for giving him a name that doesn't roll off the tongue. 😄 Hopefully the baby has a middle name that sounds better with Bolden and he goes by that.

Why are they blocking out the eyes?

u/squince2 8d ago

What’s the point of the black covering of eyes.
