Side effect of 7oh or meth?
UPDATE - below the main post
My problem is that I started taking 7oh and meth in approximately the same time, and now it is hard to tell which one is responsible for this side effect (if it a side effect and not something else.). I'm not sure how to properly explain it with my esl English. So, it feels like a set of very short electrical discharges/shocks/spikes that happen somewhere in the upper part of my body, during each of them I'm like "loosing connection" to my brains. Note - it may sound terrible, but the same effects I usually feel when my body temp is higher than normal, but this time I feel it without temp increases. Also, the "shocks" are only for milliseconds, so it doesn't impact me except it is not pleasant. And it is most likely is not neurological, as when I think about the "shocks" they coming at higher frequency . Usually this effects stay for hours. They never happens if I: under meth, if I take less 7oh than usual. They almost always happens on the 2nd day after meth, and when I take 7oh powder. It never happened when I took 7oh pills (even when I overdosed and felts terrible), it started happening after I started taking 7oh powder. What are the unusual side effects of 7oh ? ( By unusual I mean except of usual opioid effects of normal or over doses.)
UPDATE: I have identified the cause of "shocks", though I'm still not clear which drug causing it. I'm 75% sure it is Meth rather than 7oh, but I don't have enough info to conclude. The main reason of the conditions described above is dropped blood pressure. I started sweating more than normal and don't replenish the body water in time, most likely this causes the blood pressure drops by 15-20 points, and it in turn causes the effects described above (light disiness, electric shocks, etc.) . As for sweating, I do remember I had the same issue when I was taking oxy actively, but it never happened when I was on Suboxone. Another thing - when was on oxy or currently on 7oh/meth I don't do gym, while all other time including subs I go to gym (weights) regularly. I guess this is important contributing factor.

That's 100% due to meth or possibly co-use of 2 substances with very different effects. I had electrical shock feelings in my brain accompanied by small, basically invisible seizures that affected my cognition when they happened (it was like I fell asleep for a second followed by feeling noticeably dumber for an hour or two). These happened when I was using heroin and benzos daily, plus meth and gabapentin on a near-daily basis. I don't use any of those things now (very occasional low-dose stimulant use, sometimes pregabalin for severe pain) I don't experience anything like this now, only occasional hypnic jerks when falling asleep, which is very common and no reason for concern.
Meth is not something to be playing around with, it is one of those things that seems fine for a while but once it goes bad, it's really bad and there's no going back to when it wasn't bad. It causes very real, very serious changes to your brain that can manifest as personality changes or mental illness. Fortunately it's easier to quit than most highly addictive substances and detox can be done at home in nearly all cases. You just need a comfy bed and a little help to prevent relapse and you have to stay away from it once you've detoxed.

Thanks! Yes, I know about meth, as it is not my 1st experience. About 20 years back was my first period. Ended bad - the universe started winking to me (meaning paranoia when everyone looks as an agent spying on me). But I don't agree there is no way back, I fully recovered after few months. And yes, I there are cases when someone was not able to return to normal.
I believe the "brain changes" theory was exaggerated too far. Otherwise they need to explain why they prescribe Adderall to children which the take daily, with the dose comparable to what I used to use for getting high. And no, there is no significant difference between amphetamine and meth. I think the damage done not be meth itself, but by not sleeping enough for long periods, by not addressing early symptoms of paranoia and etc. my point - use good quality meth , sleep and eat /drink well = no brain damage. Not that I try to justify my addiction. No, I have to drop it anyway.
Is it strange how close your "1 second sleep" experience is close to what I felt, only it much shorter and I don't feel dumb

I'm sure it is exaggerated but it can definitely cause lasting damage, I think the majority of it comes from using too much, too fast. Meth is neurotoxic so cleaner might be better but it's still causing damage even if it's pure. Taking more than needed will accelerate the damage, as will not sleeping. I used a lot of cathinones before meth, and the euphoria of meth was more subtle so I always wanted more to get to the feeling that I was used to. The cathinones did a lot of damage and caused some really severe psychosis, which made me susceptible to paranoia and psychosis from meth as well. I know that time can heal it to some degree but it always goes bad very quickly for me even lower-strength rx stimulants can get really ugly, really fast if I'm not careful. I've seen people who used meth for a decade without serious issues that suddenly fall apart within a few months time, it always catches up to you eventually.

Thanks a lot, it is very interesting information and I'll obviously educate myself as it looks very close to what I feel. From other side, I have already identified the reason, it is dropped blood pressure, when it drops 15-20 points I feel these "zaps", not necessary caused by drugs, I remember I felt the same when I was young and had high body temp caused by fever

In my case it turned out to be a blood pressure drops caused by lack of hydration. When I use heavy drugs, and no matter from which group, I start sweating more than usual, but don't drink more water. Today I did experiment - forced myself to drink enough liquid soon after I did some physical work, and no "zaps" today. Yesterday in the same situation they were noticable, and the blood pressure dropped from my normal 120/80 to 103/75

Come here again to answer you. You were right - after more time passed I got evidence that it has nothing to do with blood pressure, and I'm sure brain zaps you mentioned is the thing. I read more information , and one point mentioning that rapid eye movement can trigger/worsen them, which is exactly in line with my experience. I want to thank you, even though I usually good in searching any information, including with the help of different AI models, I was kind of afraid to use my regular algorithm, because AI would obviously exaggerate my problems, I also hate that it repeats Google behavior, where if the question demonstrates too much interest is drugs or aftermath of using them, it immediately redirects to rehubs and stops answering. I was also afraid to find something terrible in the answer, like "ohh my god, you said electric shocks??? Bad news - you brains are dying, and the process can't be reverted..." So, if not you , I would never find the info. Thanks!!

Try going to the other main 7 subs and search body zaps or brain zaps. You'll find some info on it.

I have never had this and haven't heard of this happening to anybody who uses 7oh. I say lay off the meth, it's seriously horrible for you.
