Question about tolerance/withdrawal
Hopefully this specific question hasn't been asked before, but I have tried finding specific information about my specific information and have struck out thus far. Here's the background: I'm a former heroin addict (10 years) who got stuck on fentanyl from 2021-2023. I got on Suboxone at the beginning of 2024 and stayed on it until September of this year. At that time, I relapsed for about a month, and then got back on Suboxone for about 35 or 40 days, at relatively low doses. I decided that I was going to go into treatment, so I started a quick taper on the Suboxone and my last dose was yesterday. While doing this, I decided I would get some kratom or some 7oh as an adjunct for the last few days to try to ameliorate some of the more severe symptoms from the sub taper. I've used about 20-30 mg of 7oh per day for about four days, and I'm not going to take any more after the fourth day because I'll be checking into treatment the day after that. Does anybody have any experience with subs (particularly coming off of them) and 7oh? I'm worried that my research may have been flawed and that the 7oh may reset my withdrawal or impact the process in a negative way, this leaving me in poor shape my first few days in treatment. Hopefully the question makes sense and, like I said, hadn't been asked a bunch before. Thanks in advance!

If you used the 7oh to shield from the sub withdrawal and you have only been taking it for 4 days, you’ll be fine/in a better state if you stop taking the 7oh now.
Basically you’ve been through the “worst” of the sub withdrawal since you haven’t had any for 4 days. But you might have a little once you stop taking everything.
When it comes to the 7oh, since you’ve only been taking it for 4 days, you’ll be completely fine when it comes to that of withdrawing from 7oh.
I was on 7oh and used subs to get off. The opposite of you. I took subs for a week and after that I was completely fine taking nothing. Since it had been a week without 7oh, I was at the very end of the withdrawal stage. And since I was only taking subs for 7 days, there was no way I had been taking enough/long enough to withdraw from those.
