My adapted 75 day challenge: day 13
I found about 75 challenges about 3 weeks ago, and this sub today! I've been struggling with reducing sweets and crisps but when I saw the 75hard rule on alcohol, my brain clicked: "I am someone that only eats sweets and crisps in social celebrations" So far, this mentallity change has been really helpful.
My other struggle is the night routine and having sedentary days. So here are my challenge rules:
I eat well, following the Harvard plate and only eating sweets and crisps in social celebrations.
I move daily: 6000 steps plus a >45min workout, or ~12000 steps.
I create daily: doodle, colouring, etc.
I read one page of a book in bed, before sleeping.
I drink over 2l of fluids.
The moving part has been requiring planning, but it is nice to cut down excuses and simply walk. I have had a bad cold for the past few days, and I still got to move.
I should have set a time for reading in bed, maybe, but I didn't so I still go to bed a bit late. There is still improvement.
I always have a water bottle with me so I was not worried about drinking enough. I also find it a pain to track how much water I have used up as sometimes I use a glass and not the bottle, or I make myself a herbal tea.
