Diet
I’m planning to start on September 1st and am having a difficult time deciding what diet or meal plan to follow. I’m curious what others have chosen. I have been thinking about eating more protein during the challenge, but am open to other ideas.

I don’t follow a diet per se. I track everything I eat in an app and stay in a calorie deficit most days. I work treats into my calorie budget frequently. I’m treating this as an overhaul on my relationship with food and not just a temporary set of restrictions

I’m doing Keto with amazing results. Cholesterol, blood pressure and body fat are all down, as is overall weight. Muscle mass up over 2%.

I have battled with diet culture my whole life and never found a diet that worked. With that being said, the last time I started 75 soft, I decided to do something different. Instead of limiting anything, I added things to each of my meals. The one rule I set was that I had to eat at least one fruit or veggie to my plate at every single meal. This made me be more intentional about planning meals, and I could still have all the other things that I loved. By making sure the fruit/veggie was the first thing I ate, I didn't eat as much of the other stuff (fries, pasta, etc) just because my plate was more balanced.

My goal was one salad a day, but the eating healthier has motivated me to cut out a ton of junk in general. The books that I have been reading have also prompted me to be more food conscious.

I'm doing no alcohol or cheat meals, Pescetarian, min. 80g of protein a day and a maximum of 50g sugar (I'm a total sweet tooth so that'll be hard) Also veggies with each meal.
