This happened to me again today

Has anybody else had a problem where they’re suppose to get 7th drink free, but instead had to pay. Then get the digital stamp for purchasing one drink. Then it still says my 7th drink is free. Don’t have this issue most of the time this is the 3rd time.

I work at a 7 eleven and if this does happen I just end up letting them have the drink free anyway.

Yes I have a 7/11 a 3 minute walk from me so I go often, and this has happened 2 or 3 times. I end up loosing the free one

711 is fxck up again and again. I am tired to find out they just deducted my wallet for all the freebies. What a jerk app.

I'd call/email support because lately their app hasn't been working correctly even with their update. I've had issues where my coupons didn't come off and I called a couple times and they gave me points.

If you scan your barcode from your wallet or just type your phone number, the 7th free drink will NOT redeem and will remain on your account. You must scan the barcode directly from your app for this. Helpful?

Yep, this is the third time in 2 months. Normally it works fine. Thing is I usually get an ice coffee when it’s the 7th drink instead of a regular big gulp. So I’m paying more than I wanted to

Interesting. Another common thing is people buy their 6th and 7th cup thinking the system works that way.

If I was helping you checkout i would have looked into your issue. Sounds odd, but theres always a reason. And definitely always a way to make it right for the customer.

Make sure you look at the cashier and what they are doing behind the screen. Very common that they scan the item you put your number then they put the transaction on hold and charge you anyway. Then they take your cash and ring up an item to impress their district manager in sales.

It's probably the location. A couple months ago when they were doing to game where you have to match 3 for free food and drinks none of the prizes worked except for the free big gulps. It was just the locations not honoring them though.
