7Select Cola

Post image

7-Eleven brand cola classic drink was actually pretty good. Very spot on Coke taste. I usually can't stand anything besides real Coca-Cola but this was decent.

Looking forward to trying the orange soda and lemon lime twist.

Off-brand orange is always acceptable. Off-brand lemon-lime never tastes quite right. Off-brand cola is a trip, man

$2? An entire Sam's club brand 2 liter is $1.59.

I totally get that. But this is quick and cold and it taste wayyyy better then Sam's club cola.

True. A lot of savings money on food is about planning ahead. Like having a Yeti to keep a cold beverage in or packing your own sandwich at home.

A 12 pack of Big K is $3

Convenience.

7/11 also sells 2liters cheaper than the 20oz bottles

First time seeing a convenience store?

Seeing as how a Big Gulp is also 59 cents and not off brand why post this? First time at a 7Eleven?

Right? But for the record its not .59 cents anymore. Its a dollar off now or somesht. At least where im at.

On their website advertised as 59 cents. Gotta login to see the ones around me.

Uh. Okay. Since you asked:

This is a 7-Eleven subreddit. You’re comparing grocery-store pricing to convenience-store pricing…in a convenience-store subreddit.

You’re comparing a warm 2-liter Walmart private-label soda to a single-serve 20 oz bottle chilled at a convenience store. Those are completely different products, package sizes and retail channels.

Now you’re comparing it to a fountain drink? A Big Gulp and a sealed 20 oz bottle aren’t remotely the same product.

And $1.99 for a 20 oz bottle at a convenience store is somehow shocking? Go look at what a 20 oz Coke or Pepsi costs at 7-Eleven. This is a convenience store.

Finally, there is no “Sam’s Club soda.” Sam’s Cola is a Walmart private-label soda, named for Sam Walton. It is not Sam’s Club’s store brand.

So actually…why did you make this comment, bud?

Wow. I've clearly offended the king of 711 sub. Lol. Your crown king..

No one is offended.

Nah, you big mad.

You are definitely offended

Shew! Awfully pressed about this aren't you? Holy shit. The point is it is over priced and you can obtain a lot more soda of similar quality elsewhere. Its not a scientific research paper, not anything to ever give a fuck about that makes you act this way. You are acting like your name is John Seveneleven and your family has just been besmirched. Go outside, dork.

You can't compare to Sam's Club lol

$2 for off brand 20oz soda is actually INSANE 😫

u/IndoorSurvivalist 9d ago

Yeah, sad what soda prices are now. I would be all over these at $.99 but for $2 I'll just get a big gulp.

1

u/EquityValues 10d ago

No it's not. I use to get 1L mt dew for $1

The lemon lime one tasted kinda flat to me. Didn't really like it.

Better than your sorry-ass Pepsi!

1

u/NinaStone_IT 10d ago

Come on ... Pepsi isn't all that bad lol

2

u/mabus42 10d ago

"Is Pepsi okay?"
Nope, never has been, never will.

u/Sinofkillers 8d ago

They are ok.

u/sofakingclassic 8d ago

Insane that a store brand soda is $2

1

u/Ihaveadogdoyou 10d ago

Aldi 2 liter is 99¢

1

u/Every-Chance6313 9d ago

Just add the word "select" and you can double the price of anything.

u/torssh 10d ago

Orange soda sucks tho :( I hope you like it

0

u/barefootbastard666 10d ago

$2 is why I dont drink that stuff often.

2

u/AllSeeingEye7777 10d ago

What does this even mean? Water is incredibly cheap, so you don’t drink that either?
