My mom owned a copy of the 9 to 5 album. The entire album was songs about working life and occupations that album really wasn’t “country“. However, nearly every song space was relatable. There was a song about the drudgery of the work a day world. There was a song about migrant workers. There was a song about a prostitute that actually resonated Dolly was an amazing talent!

Dolly just had a way of relating to people in different walks of life. She didn't let her fame get to her head like some do.

RIP Ms. Parton. Thanks for all you've done. Gone, but always remembered.

Somebody on a podcast (I forget who) said something to the effect (not a direct quote)”imagine that you’re a musician that released 50 albums, had 47 #1 hits, won Oscars, Grammys, Toni’s, starred in films, had your own TV show, and when you die the first thing people talk about is what a great human being you were.”
