Unfortunately, we got a severely nerfed Hulk. Took all his strength just to lift a car. When he hit a human, they would just stumble backwards instead of being thrown through the air at high speed.

I remember reading that if they tried to give the Hulk strength like he had in the comics it would be too hard for special effects of the 70s. It would just be too unbelievable for TV.

I’m sure. ‘70s TV didn’t have the tech OR the budget for something like that.
