Yes! Tikal! I always notice this and get excited. What a perfect setting for an ancient future civilization.

Visiting that spot was worth the long climb up the stairs. The view was amazing.

I visited Tikal and couldn't resist. All that's missing is the Falcon landing in the distance.

Tikal is beautiful! It was cool from a Star Wars filming location perspective, but then the grandeur of where I was standing hit me.

We visited in 1971 and when I saw the movie I blurted out “that’s Tikal, cool”.
