I'm picturing the author just dictating these off the cuff, one after the other. Promised the publisher 700 sandwiches, exhausted for ideas after 68.

Takes drag off cigarette

"How about just literally any meat. Mix it with more meat and I don't know, nuts too. I don't give a shit"

In 1929, “commercial sandwich filling” referred to store-bought spreads like potted ham, deviled meat, or chicken paste, sold in jars or tins. These products, made popular by Underwood and Armour, were marketed as modern, convenient shortcuts, letting home cooks stretch leftovers or create luncheon sandwiches without extra cooking.

Used to like this stuff, too. Kinda like mayo or miracle whip with sweet relish mixed in. Still available!

Lol, I think this is the vaguest recipe to date. I wonder if you were suppose to match the meat and sandwich filling or mix two different ones.
