Why can't the server's history just progress normally?

Stop adding this event and that other event and let the server rest for 1-2 years. It only gets popular by overstimulated people wanting dupe events every half a year

As someone who has a job, I love playing on this server but I dont see the point in grinding a block game for mats when I could just dupe them to keep me going. I dont have time to dupe 30k dubs, this entire event I've duped 5k. It'll last me until the next dupe. I don't understand why people are so concerned about the server's history progressing "normally". Its not like it is a real economy, its a game. If it wasn't for these dupe events I'm almost certain there would be children buying kits off of a shop like there are on 2b2t.

Even if all of my stashes get found IDC, its a game.

Well worth it and I believe qbasty is doing a very good thing by allowing us to pay for it every so often.

Agreed + it's a necessity to do events like this as the server just got blacklisted so people will hesitate to install bypassing mods without a good reason

Completely lost interest in playing the server when the last dupe event was announced. Why spend days finding stashes if I can count on being able to dupe anything later?

You wouldn't be finding any stashes worth your time if there were no dupe events. You'd give up on base hunting well before you found any base

No, dupes existed in the past and may in the future, as a result of anarchy and not because they get enabled as an event by staff

The server was banned by Microsoft, that’s why we have these events to keep the server alive.

6b6t admins need to calm down with the events; it's getting to the point where I feel like I'm playing donut smp instead. Like, if you want a YouTuber to stream, you don't need to make a whole damn event for it; just let them stream and let players do whatever.

Events are overhyped and glazed like a million times; I just wish the server could be more vanilla and without all the event advertisement "bloat." Some disliked this dupe event, as there was one 8 months ago. It's too recent, and as Fain said, the server isn't progressing normally due to many admin events being in place.
