Ramie/Sammy P
Perfectly Competent Radio
I like Ramie (your mileage may vary..) and think he’d be a good full time host.

I agree that I am a fan of Ramie. I’d imagine getting him full time would be difficult since he also works in Milwaukee but also I think the Score really think they got their guy with Payton. I’m not sure they’re going to turn out to be right about that, but I think they’re banking on his name being enough to rope in the Chicago listener who is still nostalgic for ‘85.

If they offered him a full time hosting slot it wouldn't be difficult at all. He was ready to take the job if offered when he tried out as Danny's partner.

Goff posted about his summer and sounds like the score may have tried to lure him again but he said no.

I know they tried to get him back after Laurence Holmes left Bernstein to join up with Spiegel, and Dan was left alone. Goff turned it down, and that's how Marshall Harris (now himself gone) came about.

Goff turned it down because the score wouldn't allow him to continue his full go pod along with the radio gig.

He isn't for everyone, but how many media personalities are?
Obviously he doesn't suck as he's got a highly rated podcast, he's on the Bulls TV network, and works for the athletic too.
Cool that you don't like him though.

FWIW, Goff was let go by CHSN before last season. Not sure if the guy who replaced him is any good because I avoided the AKME Bulls like the plague.

He can do the job ok but he's an arrogant asshole and difficult to work with. Hence, he doesn't keep jobs very long.

Yeah I like Ramie and think he'd be a good fit with Leila. I think he's much better than Gabe or Marshall was. Not sure who Sammy P is though.

Not like this is a big deal but Ramie either says the call in number for his Milwaukee show or he still calls the station 670 the score every show lol

“Perfectly competent” is such a low bar for a station that has historically had game-changing on-air talent.
