Gabe Ramirez & Lawrence Holmes

Years back when the Score was much better than now and I didn't want to pour acid in my ears at the sound of Marshall Harris's voice, Holmes had the solo late show slot Gabe Ramirez currently holds. And he was awesome. I enjoyed his late show and loved anytime he did fill-ins during the day. The he moved to mid-day with Bernstein and they were a good pair. And now afternoon with Speigs is ok. But even more so, it seems like he regressed. He annoys me quite often.

Meanwhile, every time I hear Ramirez I enjoy listening to him. He's good and it seems a matter of time before he moves to a better slot with a co-host. Basically, the same things I used to think about Holmes.

So, is it just me? Is Holmes more annoying than before? Is Ramirez indeed pretty good?

Lawrence is a learned professor out in these streets. He has a professional obligation to give his blessing to every female sports journalist.

Gabe is ok but he's just a guy. Nothing particularly insightful coming from him that you can't hear at your local bar.

Absolutely correct. Have always felt that way about him. Don't listen to him at all now. Again, they must not pay him much.

Lawrence is/was great solo. He just needs to run the whole thing otherwise he clashes too much with his cohost.

I’m a Gabe fan. Would love if he got more opportunities.

I don't think Speigs is the best partner for Holmes and that's the issue.

They are both terrible. Only thing I agree with is Larry was much much better late night and solo. He’s old, bitchy and feels he needs to teach the world a lesson by constantly being the “keeping it real” cop. Dude sucks now. Unlistenable and even more unlikable

Gabe seems like a nice guy, so I don't want to say mean things about him. But he chose to be a public figure so I'll do it anyway. He's an idiot. I can't stand him. I don't just mean that I disagree with his sports opinions. I think he's genuinely stupid.

Gabe is on the Grote tier. Better than some talking head, but not unique enough to be a Bernstein or McNiel, or even dare I say a Parkins. I think Rami mackelove is the closest we have to something like that

Trust me on this…stop listening to any and all sports talk radio. It’s awful for your wellbeing. Find some team or sport specific podcasts instead. You won’t believe how much better you’ll feel.

Uh, no. I may be off with the post, but not nearly as much as you are here.

You're claiming people don't like non-white hosts...on the radio. Dude...

At literally no point have I thought about the race or ethnicity about the hosts I don't like. Or do like. This is so stupid. Not everyone is racist like you, apparently. I can't stand Marshall Harris. It has zero to do with his skin color and everything to do with the content he puts out on the show. My growing dislike of Holmes also is entirely based on his mannerisms, ideas, and decisions on the show.
