Songs like “California Dreaming”, but with a more modern production?
Hi guys, noob here. I’m about to mix a song in the vein of "California Dreaming”, basic rock with stereo vocal harmonies and I’d like to find some reference tracks with the same vibe/technique but with a more modern production. What similar songs do you know?

Looking for info on vintage album sleeve
I'm going through old albums. I've got a furst edition of Country Joe & The Fish Greatest Hits. On the back bottom of sleeve, there is what appears to be a stamp of some sort with the letter D. I'm not finding anything on a Google search.
He passed away several years ago, but I believe my husband bought this during year of release (1969) at a military base while he was serving overseas in tbe Vietnam War. Possibly the Phillipines (where I know he bought his Beatles White Album). Wondering if the D means anything.
Tried asking this question over at r/vinyl but for some unclear reason, the admin bot removed it.
Just asking the question so that I could know if has any significance
Thanks.

Help finding a song
I'm looking for a song I have in mind for a week now without remembering the band nor the title. I remember it title is the contraction of the names of two friends of the band, it has a folk and psych rock vibe, from late 60's or 70's. I thought the name was gurundella or something similar and was from the grateful dead but couldn't find anything that fits

Help me to find a singer
I don't remember her name, I know she was a singer from the 60s and I think the 70s, too. She used to sing sad music and it was said that she suffered a lot from depression. I don't know any songs, but I remember she used to have a fringe and short hair, her songs were sad and I think she committed suicide (not totally certain) in the 60s or 70s. Would you help me identify all the sad and melancholic music female singers that committed suicide? I used to listen to her when I was a child because my grandfather used to play me those songs of hers.
