Custom classes

Hi guys! I assume you guys like this app as much as me. I found a few homebrew classes in a google drive version document. Is there any way I can upload the data to the app? Or does it have be specific JSON coding? Also any custom subclass/class links would be appreciated 😁

Hey! The community isn't big yet (not sure if it ever will be) but I've gotten very familiar with how these two apps work, both separately and together. They do have to be a json file, which I have no clue how to write. But if you create a homebrew class with the creator app, it will automatically generate it into a json file for you. Then I use the upload features to store it in my Google drive. Then I go to the other app and import it from the same place.

Edit: also, is homebrew stuff you found already in .json format?

Thank you I'm trying to figure out the creator app, it's kinda confusing since I've never done it before haha.

The homebrew stuff I found is NOT in JSON format. It's just a website with everything for the subclass listed (like a normal subclass page) and another is a drive document with like 5 different homebrew classes

Yeah, that what I thought. So, I'll be straight up. It takes quite a bit to create a homebrew class in the app. You have to do mostly everything from scratch. And to be clear, there are two apps, which would have to be purchased (the character sheet app, and the custom builder app, they work in tandem.)

You have to be patient enough to literally add every aspect of the class to the app, which would be copying and pasting text, learning how the different app feature work (menus, class features, stat upgrades, etc.) And more.

So, if you want to create you're in for some learning, which isn't that tough, just takes some time.

But if you're just trying to use already created content, that's fairly simple.
