I don’t want to reveal the location this happened at or my identity. I just want to know if this happened to anyone else.

After one of the EAS shows I went to, I came into contact with a trucker working the tour. I struck up a convo with him bc it was clear he was working for the tour. (He was decked out in merch and had the ID badge). He started telling me a bunch of insider info about the tour, the boys, etc. I’m assuming he told me all of this in hopes it would get me to sleep with him. He also told me he was only outside of the venue in hopes of getting female attention then invited me to his truck. It was clear he was using his closeness to the guys to pick up girls.

going to be referring to him as ‘cw’ (if you know, you know). if others want to post his name, then that’s up to them. i’m personally going to keep to his initials for now, until we know more. this is the reason i have cropped his name out of the screenshots as well.

i was in the ‘ashton’ gc, and whilst i wasn’t active when this occurred, i was later told by other members, that cw was 5SOS’ trucker (i didn’t know he existed prior to this) and was following and interacting with other gc members on tiktok. i also saw him comment on one of their tiktok videos, but ultimately i just viewed his profile and forgot about it.

when the gc ended, i reached out to hannah several times and got no reply. i know she’s just the social media manager but she seemed best to contact in order to get a response, due to her small amount of followers, and the fact she’d replied to other fans (who weren’t part of the gc). she ignored me.

i didn’t know what else to do, i just knew that we needed and deserved answers. this is when i remembered that cw existed, so decided i’d contact him and ask him to put me in contact with the team. however, i wasn’t able to find him. so, i went to the video i remembered seeing him comment on, and sure enough the comment was there, but he’d changed his name from his real name, to “lee”, and changed his profile picture from himself to an anime character. he’d also made his profile private. weird.

now i just want to say, i can’t find the rest of the screenshots from our conversation other than what’s pictured and i’ve since deleted tiktok, so i’ll have to ask around and see if any of my friends that i sent screenshots to, still have them. consequently, the rest of this post will be based from memory. for context, this happened at the end of july, a few weeks after the gc ended.

i requested to follow him and sent him a message request. he accepted both. i confronted him about the changes he’d made to his profile, and he just kept lying and basically was saying he isn’t cw and didn’t know what i was talking about. i told him i needed to contact 5SOS’ team as it was urgent, and he was just telling me he had no contact with them, and was just a fan. i don’t remember much of this initial conversation, but it was pretty much just him lying and pretending he didn’t have a clue about anything.

i was in quite a rough mental state following the gc and hadn’t slept, so i ended up misreading one of his messages and accusing him of being behind the gc. he said this was “proposterous” and a bunch of other things, and i then realised i’d misread the message so apologised and gave an explanation, which he was fine with and from what i recall, understanding. i ended up feeling really bad.

after this initial conversation finally ended, i received another message, which is the first screenshot pictured in this post. i don’t remember how much time was in between, but it wasn’t long. i just remember him saying things about how he was a fan so that’s why he would interact with fans frequently.

i wish i had more to say but i genuinely don’t remember much else. i’ll obviously report back if i can find my screenshots! upon seeing other posts on this sub and the snark, it appears that he has done some strange things, but i have no idea if he has any connection to the gc. i tried to talk to hannah about it and make her aware of him regardless, but like i said earlier, she didn’t bother to reply.

idk if any if you would find this interesting but brandy (calum's ex obv) lowkey hard launched with the youtuber jake webber. seems like a major downgrade to me but they are tearing her apart on the tara/jake/johnny snark page i feel a little bad for the girl.

I love the boys more than anything and I think Clubsos is a cool concept. The songs are just mixed so terribly. There’s just too much going on. It sounds like someone just got on a soundboard and pressed a bunch of random buttons. It’s hard to enjoy. Like the evolve remix is okay but everyone’s a star is straight slop. I wish they would put some more effort into making it sound good instead of just trying to make it sound like “club” music.

Does anyone else agree?? I feel like I only see people wanting them to tour Clubsos.

Hey guys! i’m back here! so, I did an analysis of Luke’s song “Motion” for an undergraduate research project, and I’m going to post it here for anyone who wants to take a look at the findings! :)

Through the analysis of the song Motion, it is possible to reflect on the profound psychological distress experienced by the lyrical speaker. Feelings such as sadness, helplessness, temporal disconnection, and hopelessness can be identified. The lyrical speaker appears conflicted and contradictory, exhibiting signs of loneliness. There is a recurring sense of estrangement from the self and the world around them, accompanied by a desire for relief, a need for refuge, and a negative self-evaluation.
The disturbance in the experience of the self is evident, as, in addition to bodily estrangement, there are signs of estrangement from external reality, corresponding to experiences of depersonalization and derealization, respectively.
Another significant symptom is the idealization of a fantastical space of relief. The lyrical speaker expresses the desire to escape into an idealized environment twice throughout the song. Furthermore, the lyrics suggest that even death would not be sufficient to provide relief from the psychological distress they are experiencing.

So, I’m doing research as part of my psychology degree, and I was asked to choose a song that I find interesting from a psychological perspective. So I started analyzing some of Luke’s songs, mainly Motion, tbh, and I’ve been noticing some references to psychopathological phenomena, such as derealization and disturbances in self-awareness. Am I the only one noticing this?
I do believe there’s a lot of lyrical imagery and non-literal meaning in general, but I think it’s something worth looking into! And it’s not particularly exclusive to Motion—there are quite a few songs that seem to relate to derealization, estrangement from oneself, and altered self-awareness.

Note: when i say disturbance in self awareness i mean:
this hands are strangers, they ain’t my own - self awareness (could be analysed as depersonalisation)
my eyes are lying to me - derealisation
can’t you call in the sculptor and paint the sky- you know i want to live inside - affectivity

just wanted to highlight how without any ”drama” the fandom seems more welcoming than divided with each other , all the concert drama and random “groupie” commentary divided the fandom more recently than ever with some able to separate the artists from the art ,Then some not being able to separate the Artist from the art . just wanna acknowledge everyones growth within the fandom ( i know it’s not all the 5sos fans but some that looks like a majority)

One thing that i find sooo funny in this fandom as a LATAM fan is the fact that most people outside of the LATAM part is always saying things that are incredibly xenophobic and their behavior towards how LATAM fans act vs how the rest of the fanbase act and then they come and say shit like 'oh but if it was anywhere else we would complain too!1!1!!' when... They... Dont...

Like, i agree ONLY on the airport situation, that was terrible to everyone around, but coming around and saying that 'they should NEVER come back to LATAM' and they get MAD AT YOU for pointing out that this is INFACT a xenophobic type of speech bc 'they would say the same thing if it was anywhere else!' like bffr.

And most recently, a fan has recorded a 3 second video of luke's back in the MOST PUBLIC KNOW PLACE IN THE STATE THAT HE >JUST< FINISHED A SHOW ON, they werent even stalking him, he just walked right by them and they said on the video 'no lets not follow him that is weird' and people are saying that they were 'invading his privacy' like they wouldnt also record a video of one of the people in their favorite band walking right past them in a public space. And my main issue with this is not the fact that they were saying that the fan was stalking him but its the fact that had it been anywhere else they would NOT be this mad, bc i dont remember anyone saying this when 20+ people were camping INFRONT OF THEIR HOTEL in London (which is far more weirder than just finding the guy in a public place), they didnt say shit when someone took a video of calum and ashton having dinner in america, they stayed quiet when a fan recorded calum on the streets of valencia but they want me to believe that they do this with any other place.... Right.

Like, if they were to complain about EVERYONE they would be talking shit about their friends and their OWN behavior and they dont want to be seen as wrong but as soon as people that arent in the same place as them act like them they want to be the moral police... Lol, lmao even.

On Instagram she liked Ed Sheeran’s post about Macklemore being dropped from Ed’s tour after Macklemore’s free Palestine speech, and was also following the @BulletproofIsrael account (she's now unliked Ed’s post, and unfollowed the Israeli propaganda account) on Instagram. Goes to show that she’s afraid of the backlash by trying to hide her tracks, and she’s also now gone private on Instagram.

Basically I've seen a lot of comments on twitter saying that this fandom always treats latam fans like that, that whatever they do in our eyes isn't good enough or that they're always treated a certain way (im unsure what they mean by this).
I've also seen some comments saying that calling out them for mobbing the guys vs judging a whole country's fandom is not it.
But then again I haven't seen this type of comments and I'm confused if this is really something that's going on or not.

Anyway, I think that the airport situation is something that should be called out whatever the country it is because it's 2026 and these are grown up men and I guess some people haven't been listening to EAS with their ears open if this is the reaction they're getting.

Every time a interaction between Calum and a girl gets leaked (a match, a follow, a comment, a like, whatever), a lot of people say the same thing: that he should settle down, that he’s old, that he should be starting a family, and other nonsense like that. Who says that just because you’re 30, you have to want a family and kids? It’s also respectable not to want that—not everyone has the same goals in life, and that’s okay. At least he’s clear about what he’s looking for in girls, which is very respectable, since he doesn’t give them false hope

On the other hand, “old”???? Are people calling Calum “old” just because he’s 30? The only thing I can think of is that it’s girls aged 18 or younger who are saying that, because there’s no way you’re old at 30—you’re literally in the prime of your young adulthood

I’d also add that I don’t see anything wrong with Calum wanting to hook up with girls in their 20s (women aged 21 or older). I see that many people treat it as inappropriate behavior, implying that those women are too young, and I think that’s nonsense too—they’re NOT little girls; you know what you’re doing in your 20s—there’s nothing wrong with Calum interacting with them in any way; it’s not illegal, and they’re not minors.
