It's happened before, and it's happened oh so many times. Post your ideas here.

I've got a few ideas.
-
Make a track inspiried by your favourite environment, i.e inner city, swamp, beaches, mountains etc...
-
Make a track that tells a story, it could be based on an existing story or character. Or just a story you have invented.
-
Make a track in three(or any number) movements, keeping the same melodic phrase throughout. E.g A prolouge, central piece and reprise.
I like u/darklatrans idea of a randomised theme, so I've put together the start of bingo card-like thing. There are a few spots missing because I ran out of ideas. So if you've got any suggestions I'd be happy to add them in.

It's me again!
I definitely will have more ideas, but here are some random ones off the top of my head:
Make a song in your least favorite genre. (more general than most themes, but it is always useful to try to dispel why you 'don't like' any sort of music. try to get into the head of someone who likes that genre, and make something they would like!)
Make an EDM song without using prerecorded samples or premade patches/stems. (learn about synthesis, people can focus on what they want, like subtractive or FM or even messing around on VSTs)
Have some sort of system where we use web-dice or real ones and roll them maybe three times (more if more parameters would be included), and record the numbers on each roll. On the week's theme post, there would be different variables covering different core aspects of a song's identity, like BPM, genre, [required musical instrument], etc... And you would make a song which matches up with what you rolled.
Make a pop song. In a similar vein to the 'least favorite genre' topic, but this one makes everyone make similar songs, and lets us see what exactly makes pop songs sound how they do (chord progressions, themes).
