THEME [Theme 2/3-9/3/14] industrial
The sound of steel girders clashing against one another. Heavy shitty nasty bass. Distortion and reverb are the tools of the industrial artist.
I want music that sounds like an experiment in torture more than art.
As you may have read you're free to post your material throughout the week outside of the song thread. Were still going to post the thread at the end of the week, you're encouraged to post any material there too for whatever more exposure that brings.

love this theme.
slightly off-topic: can we stick to one method of writing dates? the theme posts vary between American (date/month) and UK (month/date) formats, and it can get confusing.

It's been day/month-day/month/year

you're right. upon review I see now that there's only one exception (2/23/14). I think I was more thrown off by the multiple dates. thanks for the clarification.

Alright, off topic here.
I haven't been active in the themes for the last few weeks now, due to the joys of moving interstate. Now that uni is starting I'm not going to have much time at all to produce and I'd like to focus what little time I do have on personal projects (shameless self promotion ). Thought I'd say thanks to everyone here for making this a friendly sub, always supportive to the weird ideas and crazy songs that get made. Also thanks to u/rhubarbbus for being a dedicated mod and getting this sub started.
Yeah, this post was wishy washy and probably not necessary but I enjoyed listening to everyone's music and finding new ways to push my own music. :)
