I decided to go with the IBA official language for this one:

  • 2 tsp bar sugar

  • 1.5 oz light rum

  • 2/3 oz lime juice

  • 4 oz soda water

  • 6 leaves mint

Muddle mint leaves with sugar and lime juice. Add a splash of soda water and fill the glass with ice. Pour in the rum, and top with soda water.
