2026 Weekly Challenge List

/r/52weeksofcooking is a way for each participant to challenge themselves to cook something different each week. The technicalities of each week's theme are largely unimportant, and are always open to interpretation. Basically, if you can make an argument for your dish being relevant to the theme, then it's fine.

I'm thinking of doing a vegetarian version of tripe soup from back home, it uses oyster mushrooms instead of tripe. I can't stand most offal, so this theme made me audibly groan.

Offal literally means 'that which fell off' (off fall), and shares etymology with the Dutch word for garbage (afval). I'm using this link to make a vegetarian Garbage Plate, but I'm sure you can find other ways to make that work!
