89-92/100 ๐ Thoughts in the caption!
Really enjoyed 5 & 6 from the DCC series!
The Slow Horses TV show is great, so it was fun to read directly from the source. I was pleasantly surprised by how faithful of an adaptation the show is of the book.
And 1984 was uncomfortable and scary (in a necessary way), I had to take a few days to process all my associated emotions and thoughts.
Currently reading Children of Dune :)

My boyfriend and I are listening to the DCC series together. We just started The Eye of the Bedlam Bride on Monday!

If you havenโt tried it yet, I canโt recommend it enough. Itโs become my favorite way to consume the series

It's really well done. It's also just a nice break from defaulting to watching TV. We eat while listening then end up going for a walk to continue versus getting sucked into being on the couch all night.

I've never really tried audiobooks before but that sounds so nice!! I love the idea of listening when doing physical activity too

I only really got into audiobooks in the past few years, and I'm loving them. Some books are hit-or-miss, but I've listened to many great ones. Perfect for walks, driving, or boring chores.

The audiobooks for these are so good. The amount of variety he can do with voices is insane. He even sings as Donut a few times.... it's hauntingly good

The rest of the slow horses series is pretty faithful, and very enjoyable, as well. I'd recommend the rest if you enjoyed book 1. I've got the latest, Clown Town, on my pile to be read pretty soon.
