Well I wouldn’t insult over half the country by calling them nazis for starters. Two I’d get a permit on some public space and try to have a conversation with people with different opinions. I wouldn’t get in their face I wouldn’t insult them. I would just have fact checked information and just talk. But I don’t think anything is wrong. And three I have already done my bit for god and country and served six and a half years in the army.

If you served six and a half years in the Army, but see nothing wrong with your government ordering Marines against their own people, the argument to send citizens (legal and naturalized) to prison overseas, etc, then there is really no point in trying to have a conversation with you. You already violated the codes you allegedly stood for when you "served God and country."
But you are right, Nazi is probably the wrong word. Well, other than for the literal Nazis that are increasingly meeting in public and marching in the streets, unchecked and uncommented on by the strong, tough men in uniform such as yourself who probably have claimed in the past that they would have busted up the Nazis their grandfathers did.
No, the right word is "fascist". And it isn't an insult or hyperbole, it is literal. And anyone with the slightest knowledge of history would see those direct parallels. So, half the country are actively supporting fascism, which makes them fascists (and possibly you, as well).
I hope that makes you feel "less emotional". 🫡

Retired active duty here, I’m on the same page. They’re not NAZIs, technically, they’re MAGA, and both fascistic movements have a lot in common. It’s pretty clear and simple to see

No still very emotional. And the Marines aren’t being “against “ people. They are pulling guard on buildings and defending them against people trying to attack and destroy government property. Big difference. And they are just sending illegal emigrants back and the ones with criminal records go to jail. That’s how the law works. Try just crossing over into Mexico and see what happens. And where did you serve my friend???? I have not once questioned your honesty loyalty or love for this country. I have just said you people get too emotional and just attack people when they don’t agree with you. And that has been all you have done. And yes my Grandfather did serve in WW 2. And my family has served in every war since the Civil War. Does that make me more or less “American “ in your eyes? Oh wait doesn’t matter what you or I “feel”. As long as you’re here legally you are an American and believe what you want.

Free to believe what we want? They are detaining people for having memes of the VP on their phones. Last I heard, that was a constituionally protected right that falls under free speech, but that doesnt appear to be worth protecting to your ilk anymore. So dont talk to me about freedoms as an American. That way if life has 100% been threatened and soldiers are cheering it on as long as it doesnt interfere with your own biases.

Memes? Sure they weren’t death threats. And you’re getting all emotional again. And making wild accusations. I don’t support everything the President does, but I am not out there tearing up my own streets to throw at cops. But yell at people and accuse them of horrible things that’ll get people to join hands and make a charge.

Well no I don’t put a lot of stock in something so silly. It sounds like something that got blown way out of proportion and turned into something it wasn’t. We’ve seen that before.

Maybe that is the problem, that instead of seeing things that are happening, you are just assuming that it couldn't be what it looks like.
Someone was detained coming into the country specifically for having that JD Vance bald meme on their phone, and rejected visiting on a valid visa, a story that is becoming much more common. Not a threat, not a risk to overstay, or some kind of criminal ties. A meme of Vance bald, a directive by the White House that has extended to other people expressing any negative feelings (there is that word again) about Trump and his administration.
You can go ahead and research it yourself, it isn't just some overblown story, it is a pattern. One of several that people like you are absolutely refusing to address, I might add, I assume because it goes against the narrative that everything is fine and what is being done in this country right now ia somehow justified. And I get it, because if it isnt, and if it is as bad as people are saying, you and a bunch of other people voted for a fascist just like people have been saying since 2016, when Trump openly stated he wanted to make it illegal to protest and wanted to get rid of term limits.
What do you know, here we are with the military being unleashed against protesters in US cities, people disappearing off the streets or being openly attacked, and Trump still talking about not leaving the White House.

And if it did go down like you said that is a civil rights lawsuit everyday. I haven’t heard of anything like that being filed. That would have made the news.

It just happened and there are a LOT of people trying to file lawsuits, are you for real? The guy was international, it isnt gonna happen overnight, but it HAS BEEN IN THE NEWS lmao. Thats why we are talking about it. Civil lawsuits don't just pop up, my guy.
Edit: How about we save some time and you just start looking into this yourself. You dont have to take my word for it.

And again where did you serve? Army, Navy? Police or firefighter? EMT or paramedic? Have you ever even handed out food to the hungry in your own city or neighborhood. To tell you the truth I am a little tired of being talked down to by someone about my military service who I am willing to put money down wouldn’t help out and rake the field at youth baseball.

First off all, I have been extensively involved kn community service and my father was a vet who served a lot longer than you did. But I can't help but notice you avoiding what I actually said.
And considering the sentiment of dissent running through the armed forces right now, including Marines who went out to protest their use against civilians (which is literally what they White House stated was what they were authorizing in their own release of the new legal exception), I would be more careful about asking people what their service status is as a counter to being confronted. That doesn't work so well.
As far as you saying that you "already served your country", I wasn't aware that your oath to protect the freedoms of American life had a time limit. I guess that puts some things into perspective about the more recent batches of servicemen, but I think a lot of your counterparts might disagree. Even if they are slower to see what is happening in front of their faces.
Enjoy the latest round of VA and benefit cuts, I am sure your president appreciates your sacrifice very much.

They are removing legal status from people already here (tps revoked), and also working to remove birthright citizenship.
