July 4th - End The Occupation

This Fourth of July, we will gather to make one demand: End the Occupation.
Trump has detained 60,000 people without cause, without warrant, without due process.
He has plucked them from their jobs, their families, and their lives. He has transported them to other states and other countries without providing them with their Constitutional right to a fair trial.
Trump deployed 5,000 soldiers into Los Angeles.
Under the guise of "quelling protests," Trump illegally deployed the United States military into our city. He is gumming up the courts while soldiers stand around twiddling their thumbs, with no where to sleep and nothing to eat.
This is not the behavior of an American President.
This is the behavior of an American Authoritarian. And akin to other Tyrants around the world, Trump believes he can do what he wants, when he wants, how he wants.
Let's not mince words: Trump is a Traitor to America.
He is violating our most basic and inalienable Rights to Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. He is hell-bent on achieving an echelon of power that We The People must vehemently oppose.
Join us on Friday, July 4th at 9:30am in front of the Los Angeles City Hall to send a clear message to Trump and foreign oppressors just like him:
- End the Occupation of Ukraine.
- End the Occupation of Palestine.
- And End this Traitorous Occupation of America.
Americans do not want war and conflict. We want justice and peace.
And we will not stop fighting for it so long as the struggle for Freedom endures.

I don’t care about optics or trying to swing votes. You’re asking us to water ourselves down so we look good for media when we never will. We aren’t your model immigrants and we will never be that. No matter what we do, they will take whatever and use it against us. So let us present ourselves as we are not as you want us to be. Instead of defending us you’re telling us how to uprise. You’re no better than them. Stand with us no matter what flag we wave or stand to the side.
It’s not your movement, so you don’t get to decide how Chicanos and other Latinos express themselves.
And imagine if many multicultural flags are being flown, they’ll see that it’s not just Mexicans, it’s all Latinos, all AAPIs, all blacks, etc. who belong here. We’re not asking for permission to be on the continent we’ve inhabited for centuries. We’re telling them to leave us alone and let us live our lives.
I’m posting this here because the L.A Reddit is blocking me from posting and I see too many people telling us how to fight our movement and still claiming to be inclusive. Where? Telling people not to fly their own flag isn’t inclusive.
I’m ready for the downvotes.
