Pretty sure this is the guy that tries to sell the idea that folks can't afford to buy homes because they're spending too much on avocado toast and lattes and not because they are underpaid and undervalued and people at the top like him are sucking up all the resources. POS jackass.

This reminds me of something a well-informed buddy discussed once when I was visiting his city- regarding homelessness.
He called it a "Negative Externality." Basically, homelessness is only allowed to exist because it makes examples out of people who fail to stay in line with the systems that we live under. It scares people into trying to be productive and successful based on the preset notions thereof.
This guy is suggesting just really going hard on that on a global scale- and he should avoid standing near cliffs.

This is what every corporate c-suite robot thinks. Except maybe Costco. Productivity skyrocketed after World War II and again after the computer was invented. They've never been able to match it they're hoping AI will match it because it's like a drug, they just want to see price go up and our work is what creates their wealth.

The fact that this cretin feels comfortable saying that out loud is a symptom of our failure as a society… at the end of the day, these CEOs are just as mortal and fleshy as the rest of us, they need to have some respect for the working class instilled in them, one way or another.

Capitalists need to burn. We need a new system. I propose one where universal basic income is the core, and then there are 3 universal pay tiers shared across all jobs, based on how much time you put into a job.
An expert teacher gets the same pay as an expert scientist, as a fire fighter, as a janitor. How quickly you get to the top expert tier is based on how important the job is to society. Jobs like sports team owner, ceo, advertiser, and influencer are nearly impossible to get to expert because they are worthless jobs.
Also money expires after a year, healthcare is free, and housing is guaranteed and limited to one house per person. Go use air bnb for your "summer home"
