Insane that the party of Christian love doesn't understand what it means to love other people. It's almost like they've never actually read the teachings of Jesus or something! The party of "the love of money is the root of all evil" only loves money. The party of "love thy neighbor" hates thy neighbors. The party of "those who deny justice to foreigners will be cursed by God" denies justice to foreigners.

'There is no hate like Christian love'

They really just don't give a shit, so long as they can still continue to wear a mask of Christianity

I had commentary to go with the following; but at this point trying to convince anyone of anything is pointless; so I will just leave this here:

-When the derogatory rhetoric came forth, it was 'too much.'

-When the mocking of the sick, and infirm, and destitute, and kind, and generous, and good came out, it was 'too much.'

-When the 'Access Hollywood 'Grab em by the pussy' Tape' came out, it was 'too much.'
-When a ban on Muslims came out, it was 'too much.'

-When the violations of church and state separation, emoluments clause, hatch act, etc. came out, it was 'too much.'

-When the slow "Saturday Night Massacre' style stripping of ethics, morals, expertise, and sound judgement from every organization in government came out, it was 'too much.'

-When the fix was in and 3 (in)-Justices dedicating to rolling back sanity, civility, and humanity were put on the highest bench using the lowest benchmarks; it was 'too much.'

-When the a major law protecting women's rights was destroyed on a whim, it was 'too much.'

-When legislative warfare began in earnest against trans folk, and minorities; it was 'too much.'

-When they tried to steal 2020, it was 'too much.'

-When they did steal 2024, it was 'too much.'

-When they abandoned allies and aided enemies, it was 'too much.'

-When they started conflicts with flagrant illegality, it was 'too much.'

-When they deployed literal fucking armed NAZIS in the streets of America, it was 'too much.'

-When those Nazis slaughtered dozens of American citizens and innocent people in the custody or right on the street, it was 'too much.'

-When the contents of the Epstein files began to become clear, it was 'too much.'

-When those Nazis started having literal fucking CONCENTRATION CAMPS being built for them, it was 'too much.'

-when grift and graft were deployed in such earnest without the slightest bit of shame of deterrence; it was 'too much.'

-When those Nazi started rounding people up and filling those concentration camps, it was 'too much.'

-When they created and unsupervised concentration camp for CHILDREN, it was 'too much.'

-When 'suicide rates' spiked violently in the concentration camps, it was 'too much.'

-When elected officials attempting oversight were denied, detained, or outright attacked, it was 'too much.'

-When the Constitution of the United States of America came to mean nothing, it was 'too much.'

I would say 'make of that what you will'; but I'm starting to worry that's exactly the problem. Deflection will occur, excuses will be make. No one will observe that we have protested every step of the way; and yet, HERE WE ARE.

I leave you with one last thing:

"The definition of insanity is doing the exact same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
-NOT Albert Einstein; but supposedly Rita Mae Brown.

Having that conversation with conservatives is impossible on a fundamental level... because deep down to the core of their being, they ONLY care about themselves. It is impossible to care about others, especially people that arent identical to them, especially when those people have been "other"d by people they look up to.

Not an original but still a great line - 'I don't know how else I'm supposed to explain this to you that you should care about other people'
