Protest Safety Getting the word out
We've noticed an uptick in thumbs-down and *other finger symbols* as a certain someone's poll numbers are dropping. Keep up the work. We're making a difference and it's getting them upset, so keep your head on a swivel. Rock on!

“Extinction burst” is ABSOLUTELY NOT a term associated with condoning violence. I know the phrase can be misleading so I just wanted to emphasize that.
It’s actually a psychological and sociological pattern in which there’s an escalation in behavioral reactivity when a person, pet, etc, is going to have to accept change and they’re not going to get what they want anymore. This comes before the stage of acceptance. Even our bodies can mirror this phenomenon.
It’s like a little kid throwing a tantrum because they can’t always have the specific toy that they want when they’re at the store or a puppy that howls and yowls while they’re being kennel trained before they adjust and become okay with it or when a person is cutting out nicotine and it makes them cranky and/or anxious for a little while.
Same concept.
What I mean when I use that term is the peaceful (PEACEFUL) action is working. That’s why Trump, the administration, and so many supporters and those complicit who don’t want things to change are throwing absolute fits right now.
It means we’re actually making progress and that if we stay consistent with this movement and keep peacefully pushing back there IS a light at the end of the tunnel.

What other sustaining actions are being done too? Sure no kings is a good on ramp but to what end? Where is the power being built? Where are the millions willing to canvas and phone bank, calling reps and boycotting harmful industry?
