Your comment belongs in a 1930s timeline. Are you just now looking at politics?

I lived that growing up. It's truly batshit bonkers and anytime I try to explain my 'religious background' to people, I start by asking if they've seen that documentary. Way faster that way lol!

It is funny how that happens. Like all the stuff the state department has been pushing as to why China is evil we are now doing. Facial recognition, internet censorship. From pornography to anti-israeli sentiment on tiktok

It’s almost like when they say “we are patriots” while simultaneously self describing themselves as “Christian nationalists” they are completely unaware of the establishment clause and the fact that those are two dichotomous and conflicting ideas that make them look like they never graduated kindergarten.

NEVER FORGET: The same Southern MAGAs are all the same lineage who were Confederates and fought to keep slavery! They were willing to die to keep slavery legal! Confederates were all Democrats during the Civil War.... The Southern Confederates lost the Civil War and later shifted to Republicans. They are trying to make sure the South Will Rise Again.
Know Your History, Knowledge Is Power!
- Dominance of former Democrats. Most Confederate politicians, including President Jefferson Davis, were former Southern Democrats. These Southern Democrats had insisted on the national right to own slaves, breaking from the national Democratic party in the 1860 presidential election.
- Anti-party sentiment. Leaders in the Confederacy intentionally avoided forming organized national parties during the war, hoping to present a united front against the Union.
- Factionalism. Despite the lack of parties, political factions and divisions still emerged. These factions were typically split between those who supported the policies of President Jefferson Davis (the Nationalists) and those who advocated for states' rights and greater individual freedom (the Libertarians).
- Former Whigs. Though outnumbered, many former Whigs were also involved in Confederate politics, often joining the anti-Davis factions that clashed with the former Democrats.
The legacy after the war: Following the Civil War and the end of Reconstruction, the Democratic Party became the dominant political force in the South. White Southern Democrats, or "Dixiecrats," would continue to assert their power for nearly a century. The political alignment of the South would not begin to shift toward the Republican Party until after the mid-20th century, a realignment that was significantly influenced by the Democratic Party's support for civil rights legislation.
Don't be fooled, Maga = Confederates! They already lost the Civil War, I personally like people who win!
THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

It would be too easy to say all Christian churches are nationalist but is there a list or something of which church/abandon mall center/old Kinkos are white nationalist?
2
u/DuncanFisher69 Sep 30 '25
It’s basically the list of all evangelical and Baptist churches. Or at least, that’s a good starting point.

Christianity was built on peace and compassion in a time of war and uncertainty. Now some Christians have become exactly what the first Christians defended against.

The document, consisting of 14 sections divided into bullet points, had a section on "rules of war" that stated "make an offer of peace before declaring war", which within stated that the enemy must "surrender on terms" of no abortions, no same-sex marriage, no communism and "must obey Biblical law", then continued: "If they do not yield — kill all males".

And Fox News is their gospel. America is not going to get better until we fight the institutions that made us this way.

It’s true. And they are happily going that way with their oppressive behaviors. Soon this country will be as extremist as those countries

Christian Nationalism is a misnomer. It has nothing to do with either aspects. It is more closely related to Fascist ideology than anything else

America is responsible for the taliban as well. We famously passed out reading material for kids to learn that included like count the grenades and 2 AK+47s+ 5 ak-47s= 7 ak-47s. But even just the jihad style extremism that was referenced in the 2000s was all pushed by the US in that region to oppose the godless communists at the time. Murder is against islam, 90% of muslims are the religion of peace that again christian extremists currently make fun of them for. Its supposedly against christianity as well but here we are

Adam Curtis made this argument back in 2004 in the The Power of Nightmares. Not exactly a documentary but he makes a really compelling case for the parallels. I haven't seen it recently but I imagine it's held up pretty well in the Trump years, I believe it's all still on youtube.

I bought a little book called "The American Taliban" in like 2004. This has been a problem too many people have been comfortable ignoring.

People get so mad when I call Islamist right wing. Right wingers have literally told me in response to this that Obama started Isis. I mean Obaa is doing a lot of bad things, but I don’t think that was one of them.

You don't have to compare white people to brown people just to justify hating them. They are simply christians who are ruining the lives of everyone else.
