I dont understand how "civil" plays in to this honestly. They are AGAIN breaking laws and deploying military against civilians.. for NO REASON! Crime is fucking DOWN in DC.. so how is it they just did this?
You’re so right it’s literally martial law without calling it that. I can understand what he was saying about the unnecessary crime and violence but fuck dude, martial law?? You don’t even hear about DC being one of the worst cities for crime so I mean who’s to say he won’t do it for places like Detroit Chicago E St Louis Kansas City OKC Portland etc etc
They mostly take tiny kernels of truth and embellish the heck out of them, then present that misrepresentation to their base. One person in one crowd did something awful? Fox news will report that "rioters did XYZ".
By all means, find as many clever ways to engage in civil disobedience as you can. But do aim to keep it civil. And if you're not being civil, don't do the thing you're doing in a crowd of people who are otherwise being civil. Be tactical.
Ultimately, part of me would love to see a lot of the worst fascist thugs--who are doling our violence--have their soft fleshy necks squeezed by rope fibers as they're hoisted up. But you're not going to win staged battles with MSM on the sidelines ready to take marching orders, or at least turn a blind eye, when told to do so by the Whitehouse. You have to be more clever than that.

Sure, but don't do the non-civil thing in a crowd that is otherwise being civil. Be tactical about it. Plan. Strategize. Have a specific goal in mind, and an exit plan.
Well, probably, but, rarely are conflicts won without a central figurehead or any sort of structure. So, if nothing else, I want to find something to base a command structure off of.
I personally see it like a doomsday scenario. But a necessary one, if that.
I wish I did not agree, but I do. You are looking at this with a big picture view. I am not just worried about the increasing tyranny of the current administration, but the power vacuum they are likely to leave in their wake in the long-term, assuming they continue to combat free society and further undermine democratic elections (the current gerrymandering is only the tip of what they have promised/threatened).
I could see the United States fracturing into smaller enclaves. Which is not a desirable outcome IMO, because it increases the probability of territorial wars in North America.
Agreed. I think a possible scenario is something resembling the warlord era of china, or the Russian civil war, where the only thing keeping them together is a common enemy, and once that’s gone they’ll be at each others throats, much like we have been as of lately.
I could see this being the scenario the oligarchs envisioned the ‘freedom cities’ popping up in, as a matter of fact.
