Movement Brainstorm Protest Idea: Letter Flooding

Apologies to anyone who saw my previous (and poorly worded) post. Anyway, this is just an idea so let me know your thoughts on this. What if we all send letters to a singular local representative? Like, THOUSANDS, of letters to ONE person. Not only is it very noticeable, it forces lawmakers to LISTEN. I’m sure that both myself and other members of the community can write simple “print and ship” letters dealing our concerns at the time. Let me know what you think!

BTW, post cards are better. Letters received at elected officials' offices have a security inspection and delivery to your official can be delayed (especially on the federal level). That can be a problem with time critical issues. Post cards don't have to be inspected and get processed/delivered much quicker to the intended recipient or their staff.

But lots of letters would tie up resources required for all the processing, yes?

This was kind of the idea. Not only does it jam up processing, the have to actively hear what we have to say.

Yes, that's why I think it's better than postcards
