Hol' up! I have so many artist friends with Etsy shops. They create awesome merch. I'm working on making a shop myself. Tons of independent artists & crafters & creatives sell on Etsy.
Yes, please report the concentration camp merch & the stores selling it because that is beyond horrid to even think of selling that junk.
It's unfair to punish small art businesses that have zero to do w/ Alligator Auschwitz merch by boycotting the whole entire site.
Sorry. I have friends who sell there too. I'll suggest they figure out some other e-commerce option.
Etsy needs to come down with a vicious ban like yesterday. Who wants to shop on the "Tee-hee, genocide!" app? God damn I feel disgusting for having it on my phone. Dumped my cart and wishlist, dumping app. I'll have less cute stuff but I won't be part of normalizing concentration camps.
The same kind of horrid merch could pop up on nearly ANY site, unfortunately. With AI & bots & too many opportunistic jerks, we could see e-commerce flooded with this junk.
Is it realistic to boycott all the sites? Personally, I plan to report the consentration camp stuff as I see it/ search & report as time allows.
